Steve is great, he sold me my first 2 beds that I bought from this location. However, I went in to buy 2 twin mattresses, filled out all of the paperwork for the lease, and left with the mattresses. I was not charged anything this day and thought this was weird. 2 months later, "Erin" ( a very unprofessional part time "floating" employee ), who is the same person that helped me the day that I picked up the twin mattresses, called me saying I had over paid and was getting a credit, and that the leasing company would be sending me forms via email. I said, ohhh Ok, how much? She informed me $15.00.
Fast forward to a week later, she calls me demanding my credit card, because apparently I had missed a payment (I had not, it is auto deducted each week from my account) and she needed my card to process the $15.00 payment. I gave her my card number, thank goodness I asked her to verify the amount again. Then all of a sudden it was $298.00!!! (The mattresses were on sale for $99.00 a peice, this doesn't make sense!)
I told her to not charge my card, or I would dispute, and I immediately called Steve at the Heath store. Quite frankly, I was terrified I was getting SCAMMED! He was great, explained that the part time "Erin" did fill out the paperwork completely it got rejected, and I just needed to come in AT MY LEISURE to fill out the paperwork again, OK, I can handle that.
Today, I was planning on going in after work. BUT, I get a call once again from Erin, telling me if I do not get there today she is sending a truck to pick up my mattresses, or charging me unauthorized, because they are going to take the money out of her check to cover the mattresses if I do not.
Erin is very rude! In my opinion, this girl needs fired! I have bought a couple THOUSAND of dollars worth of mattresses from this location, and even though everyone else seems great, I am nervous to ever purchase from here again! Should I really have to miss a family funeral and Mother's day to FIX ERIN'S MISTAKE? No, she should be bending over backwards so that I feel I WANT to help her fix her mistake.
I will be going in to work with Steve on this paperwork, I just hope management really considers this error as serious enough to take action. In my case ERIN is scaring away a great customer, who would have continued a lot of business...
Read moreWe went as a family to Mattress Firm to shop for new beds for our teens. Both kids decided that they wanted to upgrade from their twin sized beds to queens. After trying out a few different mattresses they both found what they wanted. After we (the wife & I) tried the mattress our daughter had picked we decided to get a new bed too. Our salesman was very courteous and patient. He also understood that we were just shopping and had already been to other stores before coming here. Well, once I started talking price with him on multiple (3) mattress sets and new bed frames we were able to come up with a price that was very acceptable in my mind. This process went very well. When the delivery day came I was more than a little irritated that the delivery was not all there. The truck was short one queen size foundation and one bed frame. The delivery was late in the day on a Sunday so there was no one to call about the issue. So, first thing Monday morning I went to the store where I had made the purchase to find that my salesman was on his day off. However, the salesman that was there said he could handle the problem. We looked over the invoice and I showed him what was missing and gave him my phone number to reach me with a delivery time. He called later in the day and had us set up for a Tuesday delivery. I made arrangements for someone to be home to accept the delivery and hoped for the best. When I got home from work the foundation and bed frame were waiting in my living room just like I had requested. I checked the numbers against my invoice and everything was correct. We quickly set the bed up and all was good. We are all happy with our purchase and sleeping better! I am very happy with the overall purchase. Sure, there was a glitch in the delivery but they took care of it in a very timely manner and I understand that accidents & miscommunications happen. Read moreI bought a bed from Steve but I was not quite happy with it. I returned several times to question him about it and he gave me some ideas to try, but the bed was still too hard. I finally came in and at his recommendation, I tried a new bed and decided to switch within the "sleep happy trial" period. And much to my amazement, I absolutely love my new bed. In fact, I have a Garmen that measures the effectiveness of my sleep. Prior to this new bed I got an average of 2 hours of deep sleep out of 7-8 hours. But with my new bed, I am averaging half the night in deep sleep (3.5-4 hours deep). I no longer wake in the middle of the night with shoulder pain (side sleeper), and find no pain at all.
