We stayed here for two nights during a society field trip. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the room. It was clean and somewhat up to date but certainly not modern. The sofa and tables were appreciated as we tend to eat in. The shower had enough room for two if that was needed. Although the water is so soft that we needed to scrub off the soap. For someone raised with hard water, we never get used to soft water. There is a grocery store next door and many choices of restaurants along the busy commercial road. There is green space to walk the pets around the hotel. There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast was the normal fare of eggs, bacon, waffles, cereals, fruits, juices, yogurt, etc. It was enough to get you going. They also offered two coffees, the normal and the bold. That was a nice touch. If we had to visit Heath again, we would certainly stay here.

My husband and I stayed at Hampton Inn Heath over the MEMORIAL day weekend. The entrance to the hotel is a little hard to find. We went past it and missed it the first time . The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms very clean...the even smelled clean. What I like about this hotel is that it is QUIET. very helpful when you're trying to sleep. They have a very nice FREE breakfast. It includes eggs, potatoes, some kind of meat, breads, pastries, oatmeal, make your own waffles, fruit salad, yogurt, juices, coffee and cereals. Something for every taste. We have stayed at this hotel a few times and always had very satisfactory stay. It's a nice place to stay.

One of the best hotels in the Columbus area...especially if you're ok with the short commute into the main city hub. Service was top notch and super smooth and quick upon checking in. I found the room very clean, cozy and quiet which was delightful especially after a long haul from Tennessee. There's a nice outdoor pool, full weight room and restaurant that has a bar. Wifi internet was super fast and efficient. The entire staff were kind and courteous went well above and beyond with their customer service. A must stay especially if you're passing through Columbus. I will most certainly be back!!

This is likely to be the cleanest Hampton you will stay in this year. The place is really immaculate, from the sleeping rooms to the lobby to the breakfast area. The front office desk staff were friendly and helpful. They are also gearing up to have small bottles of wine for sale in the food purchase area near the desk in the near future, a plus to relax after a long drive for some.||As noted, the sleeping room was well appointed and from the carpet to the bathroom it was meticulously maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the place was quiet. I have given it four stars, and that's due to something that is no fault of the hotel, and which they are in no position to alter. ||They are located on a busy road with speedy traffic, and nestled behind some trees, and there is no sign on the road, so you invariably drive past it, see it from your window, then have to go down the street and find a place to turn around, then try to take a left across traffic to get in. ||I thought it was just me, but I was doing a consultation at an organization in Newark, and a long-term resident picked me up each morning, and she missed it each time, both picking me up and dropping me off. I took my car out to get some dinner, and again, knowing where it was, I drove past the entrance. It became humorous after a while, but my only suggestion for this lovely place is to put a more visible sign at the entrance to decrease the mild frustration. ||Please note that the best place to turn around is the used car lot a couple of blocks away. When you pull in to turn around, the sales staff high tails it out to show you a car, and of course you drive right back out. I think they would probably pay to have a new sign for the Hampton placed in a more visible spot, to avoid so many false starts. ||Otherwise, this is a winner. Would definitely stay...

We chose this location as a stop in a longer trip, and we wanted to see the Newark earthworks which are only a few minutes' drive up the road. The motel's location itself isn't at all scenic; it's on a busy business street. We've stayed at a number of Hampton Inns and have never had a bad experience, so we think of this chain as a reliable choice, though it's also a bit more expensive than some others. Our room was designed in a fairly standard motel way, so no surprises there, but the two queen beds were more comfortable than we sometimes encounter. A mini-fridge and microwave were welcome features. Everything worked well — plumbing and water pressure, wifi and tv, lights, etc. Everything was clean and felt hospitable. While we were there, I had to have a video meeting with a couple of people at work, and used the hotel meeting room to do it, since it was available. A nice touch is the Hilton digital key; we checked in on-line and when we arrived we could bypass the front desk and go directly to our room. A couple of other chains offer a digital key to elite loyalty members, but we didn't have to be Hilton elites to use this service. I've often wondered why, when you've reserved a motel room weeks ahead of time with a credit card, the front desk needs to see your credit card and your ID when you arrive; do they expect that a fraudster will find your credit card and motel reservation and decide to impersonate you? So I commend Hilton for its common sense in...

My wife and I stayed at the Hampton Inn Heath-Newark while in town for a wedding. Overall, we were very disappointed with our stay, and wouldn't recommend it to others. The only positive experience we had was with the hotel staff; they were friendly, helpful, and very personable.||The room we were given was poorly kept, and gross. The toilet seat was broken, water stains were visible on the ceiling over the bed, ceiling paint was peeling off the bathroom ceiling, old coffee was still in the coffeemaker from a previous guest, and the bathroom door lock was broken, and unusable since the door didn't close all the way. By far the worst part of our experience was the strange, loud, mechanical humming noises heard throughout the night of our stay. We aren't sure what the sounds were, or if they were even coming from our room, but they were loud enough to vibrate the bed's headboard and wake us up several times in the night. ||The hotel staff was incredibly apologetic when we reported these issues, but also mentioned since we purchased at pre-paid rate there was nothing they could do to help us out. Most of these issues seem like simple fixes that could be taken care of easily; if these kinds of issues are overlooked or ignored, I'm not sure I would want to try this particular...
