Hullabaloo Performing Arts Theatre — Attraction in Heath

I attended a children’s theatre performance my grandchild participated in. The show itself was wonderful, the kids worked hard, learned their parts quickly, and gave an impressive performance. However, I did have serious concerns about how some situations were handled by the director during rehearsals and performances. The behavior at times felt unprofessional and unnecessarily harsh for a children’s program. My comments are not based on assumptions or hearsay. They come from direct communication, firsthand observation, and documented information.

I just want to clarify that my feedback wasn’t meant to be personal or exaggerated. It was meant to bring attention to genuine issues that several people witnessed. I understand that leading a children’s program can be stressful and that misunderstandings can happen, but accountability and professionalism are essential when working with kids.

What a fun, dynamic experience to have in a mall! This theater is a small, intimate space that puts you right into the story with the actors, young and old. A clean, comfortable environment with an offering of snacks and beverages, you truly cannot ask for more.
