Clean rooms, professional service, and a convenient location to access Las Vegas. The reason for the 3 stars only is their pet policy. Every hotel on the Vegas Strip charges $85 - $100 per night for bringing in your pet. Before making the reservation at Aloft, I called to inquire about their pet charges, and the gentleman confirmed that it was $50 flat (nonrefundable). I made the online reservation based on the answer I was given. I called the second time just to confirm my reservation in their system and verified the charges a second time, and again, the answer was $50 (flat). Upon checking in, the lovely lady charged $50 per night, and she said that it must have been a miscommunication over the phone call. We had no choice at that time but to accept the additional charges. At the same time, we were asked to sign a form regarding the pet policies in place, and within less than a minute, she explained the very basic details about the policies. We had nothing to oppose the verbal policies, and we gladly signed the form. Later, when we were about to step out to grab a bite within the same plaza, the same lady told us that we were not allowed to leave our pet unattended. I politely explained to her that the puppy was already sleeping, and that this was not our first trip with our pet. We never had any issues with our pet, and neither we were ever asked by any hotel that we were not allowed to leave a fully trained and well-behaved pet alone in the room. To address my discontent, I would humbly ask the management to change the wording from "pet friendly" to "pet allowed" hotel on social media. If this policy is in place to gain additional business from pet owners by restricting their mobility without their pets, it is a cheap tactic. Again, I do not have anything against the establishment and/or wonderful people working here, but I do not support their...

If you are looking for a great cocktail bar in your neighborhood and want to be pleasantly surprised at what you’ll find, this is it. I went in here when it opened and had a blast! Things to highlight: Really good cocktails Very cool bar Lots of fun things to do there (pool table, jenga, etc) All sorts of fun, Vegas themed things that commemorate and pay homage to Las Vegas
I had the boombox cocktail and the Seattle Sound which were excellent. I found out that they actually press their own fresh juices here and even use their own dehydrator for fruit garnishes. My bartender was Jake (ask for him!) who really knows his stuff and is a super chill guy.
While I had my drinks, I noticed that the lights above the bar create a really interesting iridescent effect on the bar top and glassware that had me mesmerized and added to the ambiance. While I had my drinks, I played some pool (which was free to play), some jenga and hung out in the many spots in the lounge, taking in all the cool design and art.
I gotta say, if you’re in the Henderson area and happen to be by Eastern and St. Rose, you should absolutely stop by for a drink and hangout. I could actually see this being a great hidden spot or if you want to do something different for a date, this could be a really cool first date spot as well.
Thanks again Jake (and Christina the other bartender ;) ) and the rest of the staff there were also really nice and inviting.
P.S: the pics I took really...
Read moreA very trendy spot but I will not be staying here again. The rooms are very small and the bathroom isn’t a separate room. It is more compact but it I understand that it is a design choice and can’t be changed. The reason I am leaving this review is because my family was treated very poorly by one of the staff, the bartender. My family and I were playing pool and my brother accidentally popped a pool ball off the table. It was an accident and we quickly grabbed it. The bartender left the bar immediately and asked us where our parents were (there were 2 people of age in the group). We said we were adults and it was a complete accident and we apologized. He was completely rude and said that we were damaging the equipment and we said that we didn’t mean to and apologized again and he said “well your kid was slamming the pool stick” which was completely untrue and extremely unprofessional. After he walked away another staff member apologized for him which made it seem like this was a common occurrence. I’m not entirely sure why my family was singled out when there were multiple families acting very similar manner. I would hope that he didn’t approach us because of biases he may have. The hotel is nice and the rest of the staff were incredible besides the rude bartender, and he should be looked at because his treatment of paying customers...
