Cactus Wren Park — Attraction in Henderson

Awesome dog park area, if you have a non trained, out of control, thug for a dog. That runs on others dogs and bothers them. The problem with these places. And owners don't care. That's how issues arise. Just left. Seems most are like this thou here. Huge problem here. It's the owners, not the dogs. They wouldn't act like that if they was trained and cared for the right now. Probably left alone all day & they run them to go crazy at a dog park. People need work here? .... get secretary at these parks to eliminate this behavior. Good afternoon to everyone. I have not made a post. And I usually do not leave a negative comment. Nevertheless, this park is awful. Henderson Park and recreation, please address this park asap. I have never seen parks, especially this one in such a poor state. I do not know where to begin. I will leave pictures to give a better explanation on what is wrong with a park. Even though I know many parents might be upset That the park will need to be closed for a week or two but they will be happy in the end result. Nice location in a quiet neighborhood. The dog park is seconded in the three parts for big, small, and mix of sizes. There are some nice shade trees but the benches are right in the sun. The dog park needs a face lift and the page dog section needs more grass. It would be more comfortable for the dogs to run on something cool. A couple more shade trees might help. I understand the water fountain/stations are expensive but Henderson park designers should consider budgeting for more or even dog specific water fountains in the actual enclosed dog areas.
