The Eye Doc at St.Rose — Local services in Henderson

The Eye Doctor was good, the staff is rude and unprofessional. I took my young daughter there for her first eye exam. Her prescription was very light but it still took 3 weeks to get her glasses in. I called after 1 week and again after two weeks because I understood the the prescription would be ready in “a few days”. I waited until the end of the 3rd week to call again. I was told that the glasses had been ready for 5 days but no one called me to let me know. When I told the person on the phone that I’d been waiting for two weeks, she was very rude insisting that the office had called me and left a message. I told her that I have no numbers received from the store number and certainly no messages from them. She just rudely said “Well, we called!”

When we arrived to pick pick up our glasses, the person who was supposed to fit them and check for fit did not. My 7 year old is a new glasses wearer yet she didn’t show her how to properly put the glasses on, she didn’t check for fit behind the ears, and she did not ensure that the prescription was correct. I had to ask her to show my little one how to properly put the glasses on, and I ended up having to show her myself. She did try to up-sell me a second pair of glasses though.

At the end of this whole interaction I had to ask 3 times for a receipt. The first 2 times she told me I didn’t need a receipt. When I insisted on taking a picture of her form showing everything was paid, that’s when she offered to print a receipt.

I was looking for a quick appointment for a new pair of glasses for my 7 yr old son after his first one just broke but also at a place with decent reviews. I found this place on google, was happy with the reviews and called. I was able to get an appointment here the next day with Dr. Noll. I arrived, filled out the form and waited a few minutes. Dr. Noll called us in and immediately my son felt comfortable with her. He is very shy with strangers and sort of scared from his first eye appointment elsewhere. Dr. Noll made conversation with him the entire time while doing her job beautifully, effectively and quickly too. He had LOTS of questions lol and luckily she had lots of patience! I was really pleased with Dr. Noll during this visit. She also cut back his prescription in half from his original strong prescription that wasn't even needed for him. Afterwards we started to look for glasses with Juan Pablo, the sales manager. He was very kind. My son found a pair he loved and should be more durable with baseball. Juan ran the numbers with insurance, I added the extras that I wanted, paid and got the order in. It's typical nowadays for 3 weeks give or take turn around. It will be 3 weeks on the 15th of April and I was already told it should be arriving by the 14th. So far, I am pleased with the visit for my son and I would recommend this...

The doctor didn’t even know what she’s doing. I came there to have a check up because I notice theres floaters into my eyes and I see a dark curtain on my right eye. And it could be a sign of Retina detachment. I went there But they didn’t do a thorough check up. They didn’t even dilate the eyes To see and go deeper what’s really wrong into it. And their prognosis was everything is OK your eyes are good and I went few days after Abrams eye Institute and Retina Consultants Of nevada and it was confirmed After series of test, I have a retina detachment and my doctor have to do the surgery that same day. Thank God I went to a different doctor for a second opinion, or else my detachment would get worse. Eye doctors clinic doesn’t really know what they’re doing at all . They even charge me full price if if they could’ve talked to my insurance about it . What a waste of time and money .
