Plantation Club Villas by Vacasa — Hotel in Hilton Head Island

We reserved 3 condos in Plantation Club,. The information on the website and what we were given on checking in was that 2 were at no 10 Lighthouse Road and 1 at no 22 Lighthouse Road. On checking in we were not given any driving instructions on where and how to locate the condos. After driving 5 hours to get to Hilton Head it took another 1 hour of driving around and a length conversation with a Vacasa representative who wasn’t knowledgeable about the whereabouts of the condos or apologetic about having given us the incorrect address all condos were located at no. 10 lighthouse Road. We find this error to be a grave mistake and have not heard from Vacasa. This was our first experience with Vacasa and it will be our last. Absolutely terrible experience. We drive a very nice Sprinter Van that has a bathroom in it ( ie a hookup on the side) but can fit into a regular parking spot. We pulled in, took ALL of our belongings up 3 flights of stairs, only to have 3 Security officers come in less than 2 hours saying we cannot even DRIVE IT ON THE PREMISES! They let us park it in employee parking overnight ( as there were no warnings, addendums or policies that we saw stating no RV's allowed) and we received a call from the Secretary to the Deputy ( yes, he was SO busy that he could not even give us the courtesy of calling us back) and she said " Nope, sorry. You can't even keep your van on-site period". Wow, Southern Hospitality at its best! Save your money and do not come to this place that is absolutely overflowing with crotchety...

Ruthless organization; 30 day no cancel policy. AVOID. There are better ways to stay in Hilton Head. My 79 year old father had a serious fall and injury and yet Vacasa would not move the dates, would not re-list the property my parents had rented, and would not provide a future credit.
