Forsythe Jewelers — Local services in Hilton Head Island

My daughter recently got married and was given a gift from Forsythe Jewelers. The item was not one on her registry. I called to exchange for an item on her registry. We live out of state. We were told we could exchange the item but it would be a $35 shipping charge to ship the new item. If we chose not to ship the item we could take a store credit. Obviously that did not make sense because we live out of state. The sales clerk suggested we regift the item. Which I thought was distasteful. Everyone does not regift wedding gifts. No one I know charges $35 to ship an item, especially a small kitchen item that is not breakable. My experience with this company is less than satisfactory. There aren’t enough great words for Forsythe Jewelers. I live in Sea Pines, close by, so we’ve been to the shop on many occasions. We’ve purchased Christmas ornaments for my mother, jewelry for special occasions, been to trunk shows they host, and resized many pieces. Every time we go in the staff is so kind and welcoming. Shout out to Hailee for all her patience while I’m picking out pieces for my wish list. She then always helps my husband choose the perfect pieces to gift. My husband has even had his own wedding ring resized there. My young daughters love going in as staff colors with them and gives them little bracelets as gifts for waiting patiently. Wonderful experience all around. I was looking for the perfect gift for my wife’s 40th birthday and Hailee (as well as the rest of the staff) was up to the task!

I knew nothing about what was in style or how “stacking” jewelry worked but she sent me a variety of options via text and after much debate we found the perfect piece that was not only beautiful but it represented our years together as a Coast Guard family. I have no doubt that it will be a piece she will cherish always. Highly recommend Forsythe Jewelers! Also, if it gets a little hot under the collar from making a large purchase, no worries, they have cold beer on the house!
