You know, the staff at the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hot Springs were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which was a definite plus. However, stepping into the room, the charm kind of evaporated. It really felt like corners were cut at every turn during construction, and the overall impression was one of cheapness rather than comfort. The most bizarre thing was the seating situation. Instead of a proper couch or even an armchair, there was this strange built-in shelving unit positioned directly above the air conditioning unit. Someone had the bright idea to slap some upholstery on it, presumably to pass it off as seating. Honestly, it was awkward, uncomfortable, and frankly, an eyesore. It made the whole room feel even more cramped and just screamed of poor design choices. Beyond that peculiar "couch," the general level of comfort was lacking. The bed was passable. The bathroom was functional but basic, and the noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway was quite noticeable. While the friendly staff is a significant asset, the fundamental issues with the hotel's construction and lack of comfortable amenities make it difficult to recommend. It feels like a place where budget was the primary concern, and unfortunately, guest comfort suffered as a result. Someone really should take a look at some of these design choices and consider investing in some basic upgrades to improve the guest experience.

I stayed here for two nights while visiting Hot Springs NP. The Microtel Inn follows a new trend in the hotel industry where the rooms are slimmed down a bit, there are no closets or drawers/cabinets in the rooms. Instead there are hooks and clothes hangers on the wall, and cubie holes to put your stuff. The room itself was clean, fresh and adequate. The only complaint I would have is the smaller size of the bathroom; there was almost no counter space around the sink, if you have a toiletry bag, there is almost no place for it. Breakfast was good, there was hot food, waffle maker, toast, fruits and yogurt. Location was good as well, just a few mins away from Hot Springs NP. The hotel offers a shuttle service during the evening hours, which can be useful for some folks. Overall this was a clean, fresh and solid hotel option. Would stay again.

This place was an awesome find. The rooms are clean and nice though a little different. The staff was phenomenal. Friendly and helpful answered all my questions for the rate. I was a little suspicious of what we were going to get turns out it was just what we needed. A nice safe place to sleep for less than $100 for a double queen room. The desk was a small wall mount, and the lounger was more of a bench, but they were still functional and comfortable. Breakfast consisted of oatmeal and waffles and fruit and yogurt and muffins and toast and bagels with cream cheese and butter and syrup, scrambled eggs, potatoes, gravy, and sausage. There was something for everyone in our group. The kitchen and serving area was well lit and amazingly clean. We will be staying here the next time we come to Hot Springs.

My stay at the Hot Springs, Arkansas, Microtel Hotel was from 1/9/25 through 1/11/25. I went in a major snowstorm (11 inches), to be near my dialysis facility. All staff were so helpful & explained the Hotel services without hesitation. I felt safe due to the care from the staff. The staff assisted me upon arrival at the front desk who was awesome with making my reservation. The maintenance man assisted with my luggage & belongs. I was exhausted after packing in a hurry & driving in the snow. The female worker at the front desk even offered to get ice for me. Then later the male front desk worker, assisted me in locating a hairdryer in the bathroom, (behind the bathroom door). He had me stay on the phone to make sure it worked. I stayed over the next day without problems from the front desk. Upon checkout on third day, the front desk worker, was very helpful arranging an extra hour for my discharge. The breakfast worker happened to be at the front desk & observed the Uber worker not parking near the entrance so he flagged him to come closer. This was awesome cause I did not have to walk in the snow. I arranged to keep my car in the parking lot. The car was buried in the snow, with no problem. With the front desk. I felt so special at this facility, feeling so safe & the staff assisting me when they did not have to do. I would recommend this facility to anyone coming to Hot Springs, Arkansas. I give highest rating to this faculty, which was clean, & had a super breakfast, biscuits, sausage, potatoes, waffles, bagels & rolls & condiments plus...

First, I'm going to start with the positive points of this hotel. The hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly, and the hotel is very pretty. However, the negatives outweigh the positives. This hotel isn't in a great area. Since it is next to a busy road there is tons of road noise and traffic. Plus the racetrack is right down the road.

The hotel isn't kids friendly and there aren't very many bathtubs unless you get a king-size bed with your room. Almost everyone I have seen at this hotel is here for business, not a vacation. It has a bachelor pad feel since there are so many men on business at this hotel. Another issue is the hotel has several bad neighborhoods behind it. The rooms are simple, minimalist, and laid out well. The rooms are a little small.

If you use Google to find food, you will most likely go through these neighborhoods to get to the place you chose to eat. There are also a lot of streetwalkers because of the many neighborhoods behind the hotel. Which is normal, Google will take you the quickest route even if it is a bad area.

Finally, this hotel is great for business travelers. But not for family travelers. It is well priced and very affordable. The staff was very friendly and answered any questions that I had. All the beds are firm mattresses and...
