Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Hot Springs

If it were one or two times I could maybe understand.. but if you go there at 20-30 minutes before they close they will tell you they're closed and not taking anymore orders. To me hours of operation is the time you are open not what time the people go home. I got VERY upset one night i tried to order an upside down banana split in a 44 oz. cup. Girl says we don't do that. I ask do they have bananas Yes, then I would like 3 sundays, add bananas, no whipped cream, no cherries.. and dump them all three in the same 44 oz cup. Ma'am we don't sell ice cream in a drink cup.. by now I'm getting upset how hard can it be? So I ask for 3 ice cream sundaes chocolate, strawberry, and pineapple no whipped cream no cherries and a large spoon and a 44 oz cup of ice. We can't do that! Fine i need a #1 CB meal, FF and lg. Sprite. Ma'am we are closing. Your sign says open so they turn off the sign. I pushed the button and order a drink only. We're closed.. it's 14 minutes to 10. I should have drove away after the ice cream ordeal. I love Sonic ALWAYS have. They all called me the Sonic lady. I was worship pastor and I use to sing country music shows like Branson, use to be on staff at a large church there were 110 average youth, Respiratory Therapist for almost 30 years. Sonic cup in my hand, family would tease me, always Sonic cup in my hand. My sun visors in my cars were lined with the little plastic animals you put on the side of your cup.. they fit perfect!! " SONIC " These are definitely some of the most kindest hard working professional young people in this Town. So when you eat here please be nice. These young people deserve your utmost respect. Their Burgers are very good. If you're tired of the poor quality food and service you get from McDonald's and Burger King then go to Sonic where the service and food both are good quality. These young people are nice and respectful, unlike the disrespect you get at all McDonald's and Burger King. The Sonic on Albert Pike is also a great place to eat. I don't mind at all to pay a few cents more because at least I'm getting respect and quality service. But if you go to a Sonic please be gracious enough to give your server a fair decent tip. Very bad customer service. The person taking orders at the drive they left her position to come outside to visiting with a non paying person in a burgundy suv while I say behind them waiting to get to the window. When she saw me waiting after several minutes she said pull up this lady is looking crazy. I then pull up to the window she was supposed to be working and she left me sitting there another 5 minutes before I pulled off without her ever opening the window. When I called the manager she said we saw you pull off. And the girl responsible said is it about me and took the phone and said “hello”. And then acted as if I were wrong for complaining.
