I am extremely disappointed with the higher ups, and their lack of action in addressing the continuous issues with the COLD SHOWERS, and absolutely filthy locker room. The staff have feigned sympathy, and collected many complaints over the last year. They claim to have tankless water heaters, and when they are working, you get a nice hot shower, but when they are not (which often happens halfway through the shower) you will not even be able to get the soap off your skin. I believe that most of the clients who frequent this gym either do not utilize the showers, or choose not to complain, and that because the staff is friendly, and the machines maintained, the showers are not a good enough reason to seek other facilities. This is happening far too often to be natural failure, and is the result of either, employee sabotage (unknown motive), plumber sabotage (monetary motive), or something larger... I suspect that the malfunctioning showers keep undesirables from maintaining memberships at this very crowded gym as a strategy to stay clean. Yes, this "JUDGEMENT FREE ZONE" where "YOU BELONG" hasn't been willing to offer me ANY kind of compensation for neglecting to actually provide this advertised amenity. When I was cancelling my membership, the employee agreed that most of his clients don't complain, because they "understand our situation". I believe they are currating an environment free of undesirables intentionally, and saving money on heating water at the same time... Win/Win for the corporate overlords. I even suspect that the continuous issues with the cleanliness of the locker room is intentional, as a strategy to prevent their clients from using facilities and therefore utilities. So ask yourself: DO YOU BELONG? The truth is that I am extremely disgruntled because I also, for nearly a year have attempted to be "Understanding of their situation", though the ONLY AMENITY I had use for, was so often unavailable... I feel duped, continuing to pay, month after month, while showering less and less, to avoid the assault of cold water that became more and more common... See, they wanted me to demonstrate understanding, each employee acting annoyed that I was even mentioning it, every time, but the ONLY UNDERSTANDING THEY DEMONSTRATED, was understanding that I FINALLY wanted to cancel. I cannot prove it, but I am convinced that this is intentional on the behalf of the owners of this location that doesn't have any other nearby competing Planet Fitness locations and is often too FULL of clients who come to show off their new fitness wear, and have resolved NEVER to break a sweat in such a public local... I tried to utilize the equipment a few times, and the other members seemed appalled by someone perspiring... As someone who paid for this membership because of lack of access to a shower, I feel Cheated AND DISCRIMINATED AGAINST.

As a black card holder I came to this PF from out of town over the holiday. I wasn't planning to bring my wallet, but had forgotten my card so I brought my wallet inside in case they needed to check my ID.
The staff didn't know how to handle the situation and after a few minutes of back and forth with the computer and the phone, they asked me to sign in and let me go inside without confirming my membership. Pressed for time, I dropped my keys and wallet inside a locker.
Big mistake. When I finished my workout an hour later, my wallet was gone. Thankfully my keys were still there, but everything else? Gone.
Granted, I didn't put a lock on the door, so the staff isn't at fault for my missing belongings. But when I reported my missing items to the rep behind the counter, he was nonplussed and far from helpful. He took my name and number and said he would call if anything showed up.
I called today to follow up with the staff, hoping maybe the thief had discarded my wallet with at least a few of my items intact. I got an almost identical reaction from the new associate:
"Let me get your name and number, and we will call if anyone turns it in."
Apparently the original staff member had failed to keep my contact information on hand, which leads me to assume the staff was left uninformed about the theft. And maybe I'm naive, but to me, theft is a big deal. Maybe theft is so commonplace at PF Hot Springs it's easy to shrug off. But if that's the case, one would think the staff would have some sort of protocol to help members deal with the loss of belongings. Read moreI was a member but do to me winning my many year journey to get my gastric surgery and me being out for a while I had to cancel and I canceled on the 3rd of June no issues. Well I get a 40plus dollar draft from my bank and its for the annual fee which I am no longer a member but the girl I spoke with said nothing they can do it posted on the 1st. I specifically told her my renew date was the 17th of the month and the person that signed me up told me about it getting pulled out around that time and you need to do it at least 10 day before so I did. Well mind you it's only been 2 days and she is not wanting to help, keeps repeating nothing we can do. Poor poor customer service I was planning on going back after my weight loss surgery but not anymore. This was in hot springs location I know the annual fee has nothing to do with the monthly fee.
