You literally cannot beat the price! We stayed Friday thru Monday. The total bill was $285. Be advised this is a MOTEL but one that is well kept. The beds are fairly new with pillow top mattresses. We slept great. *the double beds are not much bigger then a full and not as big as a queen. So two average sized adults are in tight. Go for a king if you can and are sharing a bed. The pillows are the very soft small ones (we bring our own from home). For woman: the shampoo/conditioner are half the normal size of other motel/hotel condiments. It’s good stuff but you need two minimum of each per wash. The staff here is amazing so just ask. We loved being able to walk right out to our car. Our bathroom had been re-done and the tub/shower was new and clean. The hot water gets really hot but as with most places the pressure is about as good as a heavy rain but does the job. The mini fridge is so cold our water had some ice in it! Usually the fridge barely gets cold but not here. The AC does have a cut off so we had to keep lowering the temp but worked just fine. You get a lot of channels in the tv including HBO and Showtime. There isn’t a written channel guide which would have helped a lot. But no big deal. You are about 1 mile from downtown and directly across from the casino. There is free parking in an enclosed garage downtown (by the Grateful Head Pizza) if you just follow the signs. It was never completely full and is one block from the center of downtown. Also, Rockys pizza is around the corner from the motel (so close it would take longer to drive) and is excellent! We got a 10inch and it was plenty for 2 adults. Our room had a table and chairs as well. Many reviews talk about how good the breakfast is in this age of Covid. I say it rivals any motel/hotel breakfast even if we weren’t having restrictions. It is very good. Eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, potatoes, waffles...the works! And the coffee is good! Like really good. Again, we didn’t encounter one staff member that wasn’t friendly and accommodating. They were all the best. The maintenance guy is constantly working. Blowing off leaves, picking up trash, cleaning out the pool....etc; Every motel/hotel needs people like...
Read moreKim and Ashley at the front desk were so kind! Very excited to meet our dog and us too! They are genuine and kind and so helpful. She gave us a map of the place and put us in a room next to a grassy area since we had a dog with us.
Our room was huge I walked in and almost thought we had paid for a suite but it was just one large room! So spacious and included a table with two chairs, several places to put luggage or could be used as extra seating, the bathroom had a night light feature and a HEATER! We also loved that the room included a microwave and fridge which not everyone offers anymore. Everything was extremely clean, water was hot and there was good water pressure too!
They had several vending and ice machines so no one had to walk far at all for these amenities. We LOVED the dog park! It was amazing to have a double fenced area on site where our dog could run around off leash, especially since we didn't play much with him in the hotel room (he gets rowdy and barks when we play!).
Sam at breakfast went above and beyond to make our time there spectacular. She hand makes the cinnamon rolls at 4am every morning. The breakfast was easily the best I’ve had at any hotel ever!! Sam also made waffles for me, cleared our plates when finished, and she even wrapped up my extras to bring back to the room!
Everyone here was so helpful and accommodating and just over the top genuinely friendly. This is probably the best experience I’ve ever had at a hotel (and I’ve traveled to 21 different countries and many states). Plus for the price you honestly can’t beat it.
The location was very close to downtown and the national park (5-10 min depending on traffic), but it was out far enough that parking and over crowing wasn't a concern at all. Several fast food places and gas stations down the street, and very easy access from the highway.
I just can't say enough good things about this place. If you come to Hot Springs, choose to...
Read moreI used to work at a hotel and I've spent two nights at one other. This one's different in a couple ways. First and foremost the pool is outside... Which I appreciated because on a hot day there's nothing like a sunbathe after a good dip. (The pool closes at 10:30pm for anyone wondering.)
The room is average to smaller size. We got a smoking King room for two nights for a little over 200. The bathroom sink is not in the bathroom, nor is the bathroom trash can. It's all right outside the bathroom door.. The shower curtain kept slowly creeping down toward the middle on both sides when i showered... So pro tip, put it ON the metal part of the bar on the far end of each side lol... There's not a closet anywhere containing the personal closet things such as hangers or the ironing board. But they do have them. They're in front of the bathroom around beside and floating above two benches. There's also a safe with a key at your disposal sitting on one of the benches lol.
They have free breakfast which I'm all over because I'm fat. Heads up, the one who runs breakfast makes the waffles. Every hotel ive seen and heard of, we just kind of make our own, but here that's not allowed so don't just dig in.
The house keepers forgot to clean our room. She knocked on our door and apologized saying she heard our room was skipped and asked if we wanted service or just more towels. Confused as to why OURS was skipped, we just took the towels... Our trash was very full by the second day lol.
I'm pretty optimistic though I have to say it accommodated the things a hotel room is meant to. Staff was extremely friendly and patient since we had a lot of questions....
