We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Houston, TX for three nights. Unfortunately, there was no hot water for two of those days, which was definitely inconvenient. That said, the staff handled the situation very professionally. Management promptly gave us a refund for two nights of our stay, and the complimentary breakfast each morning was a nice touch. The location is convenient, the rooms were clean, and the service was friendly. While I hope the hot water issue is fully resolved for future guests, I appreciate how the team took care of us and made sure we left satisfied. I would stay here again once the maintenance issue is fixed.

The hotel was ok. It has your basic necessities. Walls are thin. I heard a things from a couple up above me that I didn't want to hear. Also, heard people in the hallways at all hours of the night. I picked the place because it said it had a bar and restaurant. Both were closed even though everything is open now after Covid. Sign in laundy area said it had laundry soap and fabric sheets. When I went to the front desk and asked, they didn't have laundry items. My room had unknown stains on the cushion bench. My last night there a hotel guest set off the fire alarm at 3 am because no one was at the front desk.

This hotel was disgusting. The pictures shown online are a scam. The elevators were inoperable and a cleaning staff assisted us to get downstairs through a stairway. The bathroom was filthy so I attempted to check out immediately but the manager declined my refund. The little girl working the front desk was rude and arrogant for no reason because this hotel is trash. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK HERE, THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!!!!!! SEE MY PICTURES AS PROOF.

During my recent stay at the Holiday Inn at HOU Energy Corridor, I encountered numerous issues that made my experience far from satisfactory. From the moment we checked in, it was evident that the room was not up to standard. The air conditioning unit was barely functioning, leaving the room uncomfortably warm. This was particularly frustrating given the hot weather outside, and it made it difficult to rest and relax in the room.

To add to the discomfort, the phone provided in the room was broken, making it impossible to contact the front desk without having to physically go down to the lobby. This inconvenience was compounded by the fact that one of the lamps in the room was also broken, leaving us with inadequate lighting. Such basic amenities should be in working order, and their malfunctioning was a clear sign of poor maintenance and lack of attention to detail.

However, the most disappointing aspect of our stay was the behavior of the staff, particularly Nasser. When we requested dining plates and silverware, both Nasser and another staff member, Jamshed, refused to provide them. They claimed it was hotel policy not to provide these items and instead handed us cheap styrofoam plates and plastic spoons. This was not only environmentally unfriendly but also entirely inadequate for the meals we had planned to eat in our room. Nasser's attitude was extremely disrespectful and rude, making us feel unwelcome and undervalued as guests.

Despite these issues, there was a glimmer of professionalism when we checked out. Mr. Garrett listened to our complaints and apologized for the staff's behavior. He also provided a discount on our stay as a gesture of goodwill. While his response was appreciated, it did little to mitigate the overall negative experience.

In conclusion, my stay at the Holiday Inn at HOU Energy Corridor was disappointing due to the combination of inadequate room amenities and disrespectful staff behavior. The hotel's failure to provide basic comfort and courteous service is unacceptable, and I would not recommend this location to other travelers. Improvements in both maintenance and staff training are urgently needed to ensure a more pleasant and professional experience for...

My stay was actually ok. I was staying here waiting on my place to be ready for move in and unfortunately I had to leave sooner than expected! Not because I wanted to leave but because of their doings! They seem to care more about new people coming to their hotel rather than the people that have been staying there! I woke up and called down to the front desk like normal and I asked to add another day to my current reservation like I’ve been doing for 2 weeks and they lady at the front told me she wasn’t able too, I was confused so I went downstairs to the front to get a better understanding! When I got there she said we can’t do any more bookings because we are now booked up for the week! I explained how I had been in that same room with my kids and belongings for a lengthy time and I really was hoping they would allow me to stay! She contacted a “manger” by the name of Ana! I ask her was there anything we could do was there anyway around this! She stated no and that my kids and myself had to leave and the latest check out I could do was for 1pm since I’m a member!!! I was distraught and extremely unprepared!! After she hung up the girl at the front desk suggested to me to see if I could book it online! I immediately went to bookings.come to book it! It was a success it went through! While I was on bookings I counted 60 available rooms which really left me confused as to why would they tell me they had nothing! Each staff member that I spoke to that day told me a similar story they told me that it was a conference taking place where all of there double beds would be booked up for this big conference so they wanted to make room! For me I’m big on loyalty! This was just a straight scam move! I was able to book it online for that Monday and I observed and paid attention to everything that was going on the hotel was in fact NOT completely booked! I strongly feel like they had other motives and I plan to press the issues further!!! Oh yeah breakfast was free until last week they told me I had to buy a voucher! The breakfast should be free because I just can’t see anyone...

This was a business trip and I had problems getting my workers checked in their room since they were arriving before I was. I got it resolved, or so I thought, until I arrived and still needed to go through the card authorization even though I completed that earlier to get my workers in their room. My brother bought some sodas from their mini store, all were flat. I tried to use the washing machine and all it did was fill up with water, that's it. An hour later I go back to soaked clothes that I had to hand wring in hopes the dryer could finish them off. The smell coming out of the elevator on the 3rd floor, I think it was a burned up ice machine motor, was horrible and unavoidable, each time I had to go to the elevator. Ice machine didn't work on any floor or was turned off because of COVID. Last day of my stay I needed a late check-out, it was provided but the water was shut off at 11:00 so it defeated the purpose I needed of getting a late check-out so I could shower after my final day of work, day ended at noon. Knowing that the water was going to be shut off, I sent my workers back early so they could get a shower in but they were locked out of their room. No one was at the front desk for 30min so they missed their only opportunity to shower and I lost time getting my job done. The real topper for the trip was getting my vehicle stolen from the parking lot. Front desk informed me their were no outside security cameras. After talking to guys on my job site, apparently this is a hotbed for theft. Within a few days of leaving, during the middle of the day, someone tried to load up a generator from the job site next door, during the day, while workers were using it. That's not a hotel problem but with that kind of activity going on in the neighborhood, some external security cameras seem like an easy call to make. Everything negative happened outside of the room, the room itself was nice and I had zero complaints about it. I was too busy with work and trying to get my vehicle back that I didn't bring up the other complaints with the front desk. I just won't stay...
