Located right off Eldridge we came across this spot because my kids were craving hamburgers. I arrived on a weekday evening not too many people there eating, just people at the bar having drinks. By the way they have a plethora of cocktails and beers to choose from! Unfortunately I didn't get to try any drinks because I was there with my kids. Took a minute for a worker to come over and take our order. But we decided on THE RINGER, which I assumed was just a burger however what we received was more like sliders (see pictures). Four Hawaiian buns with a chunk of meat slapped in between. No flavor whatsoever. I tasted everything separately, the meat (bland) the bbq sauce (no flavor) the onion rings (they were soggy I'm guessing from the sauce). My kids didn't even like it. For a $12 burger I expected more. I ordered OLD TOWN and it was actually pretty good. The description says "smoked bacon wrapped dog" which my dog was not wrapped in bacon. The bun I didn't care for made it hard to eat and too much aioli sauce. I did like the pickled jalapeños and the cotija cheese. The dog itself was pretty tasty as well. We also ordered a side of sweet potato fries and onion rings. Both were good, however I've had better sweet potato fries. I like my fries crispy. Overall I was a bit disappointed because the reviews were so stellar, but I could've just ordered the wrong items. I would go back to try something else and definitely try one of their cocktails! Unfortunately my first impression was pretty underwhelming.

After the Monday-est of Tuesdays…I decided I deserved something delicious. I had driven by a couple times, as I workout at a studio across the street. I’d added Dog Haus to my mental cheat day list (because every time I had driven by, it was right after a HIIT workout). Tonight though, was a rainy day, and I’d ended up working (from home) late…There I was…it was about 8pm, with a fridge full of food I didn’t feel like having to prep and cook, way past my normal/reasonable dinner time…and even worse? HANGRY. I ordered through Door Dash…and the fried food gods were working in my favor tonight. Food was prepared and delivered within 20min. I ordered the Chili Kid and cheese tots…and when I say that was enough to tame my hangry, inner moody teen, alter ego…I’m not kidding. Everything was packaged with care, and the Chili Kid was perfection. A chili cheese dog on steroids - The crispy fried onions, the melty cheese, the perfectly balanced chili, the chipotle aioli, and the sweet Hawaiian roll bun, made for the perfect main course to a solid cheat day meal. Will have to check out their beer list for when I’m able to dine-in. That hot dog would taste amazing with a Yuengling - I know, I know, you can’t get a Yuengling west of the Mississippi…but a girl can dream.

Went great on a Sunday for lunch. When we got there, no one was there so we were kind of a little hesitant, but decided to go in anyway. I think the location isn't that great because it's a little hidden from Eldridge. Food: Food was great. Wife got the chili dog and I got the "cowboy". She has no complaints and I thought mine was pretty good. They really fill up the toppings, so you kind of have to knife and fork it. Kids got corn dogs and one got sliders. They all looked them. The corn dogs batter was home made. Buns are Hawaiian bread sliders, and we liked that. Atmosphere: restaurant was clean, there were numerous TV's and seating was ample. When we pulled up, wasn't sure about bringing kids in, because when pulling up all you can see is the bar, but they do have kids meals so I think they expect some kids (couple others came in after us). Pricing: it's a little steep. Most hot dogs are $8, not including fries or drink or anything. They're sizeable, but it adds up. Seems everything is pretty expensive, so it's not crazy compared to everyone else out there, but don't go expecting it to be cheap.

Customer service was awful. I called to place my order and the guy on the phone hardly responded, didn't answer my questions.I thought maybe there was a problem with the phone connection. So I went in to place my order. I told him I wanted to place an order to go, must have been the same guy on the phone because he would hardly talk and he talked so softly I couldn't understand him. He didn't answer any of the questions that I was asking about the menu. I had explained to him that I was having a hard time reading the menu because I had forgotten my glasses. I never did figure out if they had a basket option with drink and fries until I got my bill. I was waiting at the bar for my order. The lady brought it out on a tray and looked at me and asked if I had wanted it to go. When I told her I had placed the order to go, she looked real irritated.I don't know if she was irritated with him or with me. By the time she came back with my food and I got in my car my food was cold. I thought about taking it back, but did not want to talk to these people again. Hot dog was okay except that it was cold, had pretty good flavor. Fries were cold so I didn't eat them. I didn't eat the slider that I ordered because it was like a hockey puck. So I ended up paying over $27, including tip and all that was edible was a cold hot dog and a coke! I...

I just had a HORRIBLE encounter with a Hispanic lady who seems to be mainly in the kitchen who REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY FOOD because she thought I was an Uber eats or Doordash worker! She kept telling me to "Confirm Order" when there wasn't nothing to confirm. When I said no its my personal food she jerk the bag away and said no. I DEMANDED A MANAGER and she said no but a bartender came out! I will be calling because I almost didn't want my food

2/2/24 I tried this place again don’t know what I thought it be different. They are close to my home and they have a vegan/vegetarian option. I got the impossible house breakfast burrito. The meat tasted real so if it was and I already have an auto immune illness, which is why I tried to choose healthier options. My PCP and my lawyer will be calling. The lady who is working behind the bar who seems to be allergic to smiling or speaking much had the worst attitude from beginning to end I don’t know if it was because the place is just opening or she already had a bad day or whatever however, none of what she has personally going on has anything to do with me or that restaurant Find a smile and some customer service put on a good attitude and you could be stank after I leave. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 You guys fail me every time and I don’t know why I show up...
