So I get off my flight, and find out my flight was delayed. I go to chic-fil-a and before walking to the counter, I hear one woman tell the woman at the register, no more, take him and that's it. When she walks up I say "I'm sorry are you closed, I don't wanna be a bother." (Yes that's how I speak to customer service) she says no it's ok.. you're the last person. I say "ok, may I have a Felix chicken sandwich?" And before I can say anything she turned around to speak to the girl who told her I was the last customer. At this point another girl walks up and says loudly to the cashier "NO WE ONLY HAVE REGULAR CHICKEN SANDWICHES. THATS IT. NOTHING ELSE." The cashier turns around (at this point the loud girl is now stand with her) the cashier says "I'm sorry we only have chicken sandwiches..." before I could respond or the cashier could complete her sentence loud girl says "ITS CUZ WE'RE CLOSED... WE'RE ACTUALLY CLOSED RIGHT NOW. SHE's JUST HELPING YOU." I turn to her with a smile that never left my face the entire time any video they have will show that. "I understand ma'am, you don't have to jump in, she already informed me you were closed." And left it at that and walked away... WITH A SMILE! Although shaking my head in disbelief. I told the cashier thank you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visit / fly through this airport pretty frequently on the way to SATX and I have found that many people are not to sociable however as I sat in the Chick-Fil-A, a beautiful lady named Angela Iām glad to my conversation and express loving her work and helping people most of all. This made my day and Angela actually I thought she was a manager with the type of demeanor, kindness, and attentiveness to my questions and conversation! Iāve Visited 70+ countries and not so many states, however, thereās no doubt that Angela is one persons / , beautiful ladies that will stick out in my mind As one of the most positive friendly individuals Iāve met during my years of travel!!!
When giving the chance, I hope Angela obliges to opportunity to be a manager/in a management position.
I feel blessed to have cross paths with Angelina and hope to see her Again on my future layovers through this airport Because if Iām having a challenging day, I know Angelaās Kindness and smile will reset the tone quickly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSlow service in the airport is the worst. I love the food here, the staff was very polite, but the ordering / take out process has some serious problems that need fixing. I hope they can speed up the service here to the level that Chik-fil-A is famous for.
Two staff members were out front and both would take orders in big batches of 10 or more and then turn around to fill bags and hand orders to customers. We ended up waiting over 15 mins in a large crowd to get our order filled even though our food appeared to be ready in just a few mins. Great job, kitchen staff! A few passengers ahead of me in line actually went back up to ask for their food asap as they were boarding flights soon. Thankfully I had enough time that I could wait, but it did take quite a while and the crowd that formed was getting pretty impatient.
