Wow, where to begin. The room was not ready on time. We had to wait in the lobby for almost 30 minutes past check in time until it was ready. That seemed like ages after a long day of travelling. We were tired and just wanted to crash. No refreshments or even drinks were offered while we waited. The room's door is located *directly* in front of an AC vent, which was on, constantly, at full blast, blowing freezing air at the door. Not only was it loud enough to hear from inside the room, with the door closed, but it meant that every time one enters or leaves the room, one gets chilled to the bone. See photo #1. The room itself was nice and clean. The fireplace adds a nice touch. The bathroom, however, was not clean at all. There was a hair, presumably left behind by a previous guest, on the shower wall and another one on the ceiling (HOW?!). See photo #2. There were also small remnants of mold on the bathroom ceiling. See photo #3. The hot water temperature in the shower constantly fluctuates. You can feel it reach a higher temperature when you turn the dial all the way to the left, yet every time you do so, it goes back to lukewarm temperature after a few seconds and continues to do so throughout your entire time in the shower. The dial says 100 degrees, yet it feels like much less than that. The doorstop in the room is located so terribly and haphazardly that it was tripped over several times. It's right in front of the closet and active attention is required in order to not to step on it when accessing items in the closet, particularly the ironing board. I stubbed my toe so bad it ripped off a significant part of my toe nail. I called the front desk, asking for medical tape. They said they did not have medical tape available, which is a basic and standard part of a first aid kit, only band-aids, which weren't useful in this instance. The room has no sound isolation whatsoever. We could hear creaking from the room above us every time the guests staying there took a single step on the floor. That actually woke us up multiple times over multiple nights. One of us slept under the pillow, the other one used earplugs. At some point I was woken up abruptly by incessant loud beeping from the adjacent room. I had to get up, get dressed and go outside to figure out what was going on. Saw a hotel staff member and asked him. He said it was a faulty smoke alarm. I told him I'm trying to sleep, his only reply was "I know, I know". Poor cleaning and lack of proper full aid supplies is simply unacceptable! The only positive aspects of our stay were the size of the bed, the amount of electrical and USB sockets and the friendliness of the staff. One of the worst hotel stays of our lives. We sent this review to the hotel, at their request, but haven't received any response yet. This was over two weeks ago.

We arrived with 2 teenagers for a few days during spring break. The young lady that did our check in was not very friendly or helpful. There is an elevator from the front desk and I asked if we were taking the right one, I was told yes and then had a long and confusing walk that included dragging our suitcases up a stairway. There was another much more convenient elevator we discovered later. The hallway smelled like marijuana. We booked an ocean front view and the view was beautiful although the door glass was dirty. The room was small but clean and the beds comfortable. Not much room for 3 carry on size bags. Every outlet had something plugged in so it was hard to charge cellphones. When we turned up the heat only cold air would blow out. We used the fireplace and that was ok but was on a timer and needed to be restarted often. The toilet clogged easily. I was told by staff it happens all the time. The parking lot closest to the hotel is extremely small. We were told nothing about the restaurant so we never ate there and breakfast wasn't included anyway. The biggest disappointment was the pool. It would have been nice to be informed at check-in, or prior by email, that the pool would be closed the entire week. Our teens were not happy!! Overall it was a big disappointment for the cost.

We've stayed here a total of 3 times in the last year and it's now our GO TO spot! 2x with the kids and once without. Rooms are always clean and ready early. Check in is 4pm but we arrive early morning to the advantage of the beach. We always let them know we have arrived early, then give us our parking pass and call us as soon as the room is ready, approx 1pm every time! So awesome! The beach is DIRECTLY across the street from the resort and parking lot. So when your room is ready you can just walk across and grab the keys. They have a small indoor pool, a spa, rooftop hangout area , a gym, 2 elevators an amazing in house restaurant and the BEST customer service at the front desk. The parking lot is tiny and tight but it works.Y ou can bring 1 car. There are several places to grab food right next to the resort and a dunkin donuts walking distance. The beach is GORGEOUS and full of treasures. The swimming is beautiful and the kids enjoyed hours of it! There are crabs in the rocks at the end of the beach and tons of sea glass during low tide. The best part of all of this is that it's not party beach like Hampton and it's not dirty at all! Clean and quiet. The photo provided is the view from our "partial ocean view room with balcony "

This hotel has the honor of being my first bad Google review.

I had the unfortunate luck of staying here for my friend’s wedding a couple of weeks ago and was astounded by the poor service we received.

When I went to go check in , the front desk associate told me my name wasn’t in the system even though the bride booked it . It took me coming back to the front desk with the bride 3 times to finally get things squared away. The front desk associate was unhelpful and gave us attitude when we asked to speak with her manager. The front desk was annoyed with me and complained on the phone about “ another bride” needing help. She should have offered to call her manager the second time we waited in line to figure things out. Turns out it was her manager that didn’t put the correct info into the system.

The windows were dirty and couldn’t see out of the room well. I was charged close to $300 for a “room deposit” even though the bride paid for the room . The rest of the bridal party was charged too when they were not supposed to be. It’s taken the bride over a week to get a hold of management to take care of this.

When we requested trash bags and extra toilet paper to be brought up to the room we were told that they won’t bring anything up to the room for us, but that we needed to go get it from the front desk .

When we requested that the bed be remade, we were told that they “ will get to it when they get to it” . It took three more people asking four more times and over 4 hours for housekeeping to finally come. When they did get to us they informed us they were never asked by the front desk to come.

One room that the bridal party had was dirty and the fridge was full of food from previous tenants.

The pool deck was full of mold and green scum . The handicap chairs that help people go into the pool and hot tub were rusted and the electrical cords were corroded. This is clearly a health hazard and a risk for electrocution. They charge a “resort fee” for this.

They were doing maintenance at night which ended up causing the fire alarm going off at 10pm with all guests needing to evacuate. This was impossible due to one of our bridesmaids being in a wheelchair and there but being an assessable exit for her.

The amount of stress this caused the bride was unreal . They say that for every wedding something has to go wrong, and for us it was staying at this hotel.

Overall the only thing this place has going for it is its location. The rooms feel dirty , the front desk is cold and inhospitable. The rooms are expensive and the pool/spa look like an accident waiting to happen. Management can’t seem to handle booking rooms for large parties correctly.Management needs to step up because the only thing keeping this hotel from going under is...

Wouldn't come back again.

I got a groupon for this place and no wonder I got a good deal, this place sucks ! In fact it wasn't a good deal at all. They told me as I was checking in that they needed to put my credit card on a 50 dollar hold in case we smoked in the room. Which wasn't stated at all in the billing information or the fees that they listed. The lady at the desk said they took their smoking policy very seriously. My boyfriend smokes cigarettes and asked about our room having a balcony and if it was ok to smoke on it. Because in the description for the hotel it says each room has a balcony. But she said we didn't get a room with a balcony, we just got a standard double with no balcony.

But when we went up to our room we very much indeed had a balcony. We didn't smoke in the room at any point and had to go down to the lobby from the second floor in the cold just for him to smoke. Out of fear that they'd charge us a 150.00 cleaning fee if we smoked on the balcony. Because in the room it had a sign on the nightstand that said if smoking occurs during our stay we'd be charged a 150.00 cleaning fee. But they charged me at the desk only 50.00 for this same reason. After checkout the same lady at the desk said that I'd be receiving the 50.00 back in 4-5 business days. It's been over a week now and still hasn't gone back into my account, we called them today and the guy on the phone said it wouldn't clear back into my account for 10-15 business days. Like seriously ?

I didn't even mention the state of the room. Dents and holes in the headboard, sunken in beds that were uncomfortable, dresser with broken drawers, hangers that are broken, etc... the only decent thing was the warm fireplace, that's it. Their arcade was 90% out of order. Like all of the machines were out of order, the machine to make change was out of order, I think maybe 3 things were still kind of working. I overheard the lady at the desk talking on the phone with someone booking rooms and when he asked her what room numbers he'd be getting she said that they don't decide on which room you get until closer to check in. Sounds suspicious to me, especially since you can't cancel your reservation. We were so ready to just leave before checking in for the 50.00 BS, but just stayed because I already payed for it.

I guess the staff were sort of friendly, but this hotel sucks. It's just a money hungry dump for idiot tourists, I only came here because I thought (hence thought) it was a good deal with a nice location but I was clearly wrong. Don't waste your time or money here, you'd have a better experience at a motel in...
