I chose to stay here this summer as I was driving cross-country because I have done the same twice before and had pleasant stays. I exclusively stay at Hiltons if possible and I am rarely ever disappointed but unfortunately, this was the exception. I got to my room and immediately checked the door and locks for safety, only to notice a 1+ inch gap between the bottom of the door and the floor (I could literally stick my hand all the way beneath the door into the hallway). As a younger woman traveling by herself, this didn't feel safe to me so I explained my concern to the front desk and requested a room change which the manager immediately and graciously performed only for me to find the same exact issue in my new room (and every other door as I was walking down the hall). Perhaps I hadn't been careful enough in the past while staying here, but this didn't sit well with me at all after hearing horror stories from other travelers. Realizing if I asked for another room, I would still have the same issue, I settled for the night and shoved a towel in between the door and the floor only to find cobwebs and an old contact lens behind the door. I also found one of the pillow cases was put on inside out. I intended to use the mini-fridge but it appeared as though it hadn't been cleaned--there was some sort of liquid spilled inside. The curtain chain was also broken. If there had only been one issue, I would've chocked it up to human error and moved on but the accumulative list was almost laughable. Lastly, I was traveling with my dog and when I made the reservation, they said the pet fee would be $50 but upon arrival, I was told it would be $75. All in all, this was a very disappointing stay and I will not be returning. The only reason I didn't give this review a 1 star is because the employee working the front desk was very responsive when I asked for the room change.

This hotel is located in an industrial/commercial area but is in a decent location. The people at the front desk and at breakfast were lovely and professional. Usually, Hampton Inns are a good choice for a relatively fair price. This hotel was not the case. However, the room was really gross. I don't usually get too spun out if there is a small issue. But, in this room, there were some EXTREMELY OBVIOUS cleaning issues. The easiest to see and grossest would be a tie between the 'spit' or 'spray' on the mirror and the brown object beside the toilet handle. There was also pink down the wall by the toilet which I tried to convince myself was cleaner. Finally, there were brown dots/splats above the toilet on the wall that went on and all the way above the art work. I can only imagine what type of hazmat scenario this was. Unfortunately, the hotel was completely sold out so there were no other options for switching rooms or leaving. See photos for details.

This was my first time staying at a Hampton Inn because I had always stayed at Comfort Inn, but this time I decided to “upgrade” to a better option because why not? At first I was happy about my decision because the hotel seemed nice. But then I heard one of the elevators make a loud noise so I used the stairs instead. Then I noticed that in my room where 2 insects crawling in my bed and there where some noticeable stains in the bedding and the bathroom. I normally don’t check everything to detail because I get creeped out and won’t sleep, but this issues where too big not to notice. It’s sad to think that I spent extra to get a better experience but I don’t think I’ll come back to one of this hotels.

My initial impression of this location was not positive at all. ||-The "Assistant manager" Sarah was a real "Karen" very rude and condescending. Although I have previously been a hilton honors diamond member due to staying at multiple locations long-term during COVID as a travel nurse, I booked this stay through a third party due to financial strain. When asked if it's possible to stay in the same room after adding an additional night so that my mother who is in her 60's and handicapped with heart failure and severe Rheumatoid arthritis would not have to relocate... After divulging this information to her and her seeing my mother hunched over on a walker Sarah without even checking stated "Nope .... that's what happens when you book 3rd party." I was floored and disgusted! To check the availability and say no I'm sorry we cant make those accommodations would have been well recieved. However, she appeared to have some pinned up aggression against 3rd party bookers. I get it ... However that statement along with her facial exspressions and condescending tone were completely out of place and unnecessary. She ultimately looked after I brought attention to her passive aggressive comment and magically found that the room was not booked the next day and allowed us to stay for both nights ||Second issue with Sarah... after arriving to our room my mom wanted a shower. I check the "Handicap accessible shower/tub and cannot get the exstended shower head to work. So I call Sarah and inform her... her response: "Oh I wouldnt know I don't use handicapped showers thats a maintenance issue they will be here at 7am." Not let me take a look ...which leads me to believe she knew it was broken. Guess what 7am no maintenance and thats fine its the holiday. However, Sarah neglected ti endorse this information to the oncoming shift so my mom who has severe arthritis is forced to hunch over in the shower. This lady should not hold a manegerial position she was very inconsiderate, unprofessional, and condescending. My mom was afraid to call down for extra towels because she feared she would get into an argument with her.||Irina the Housekeeping Manager...( I hope I spelled that right ) was very kind. She exibited empathy for the situation and was very apologetic and solution oriented. She made sure me and my mom were moved to another room that was thourghly clean. She was very accommodating and exhibited great humility. 5 stars for her! Anytime she saw me or my mother on the property during our short stay we were met with a smile and warm greeting.||Elizabeth- the actual manager was very understanding empathetic and apologetic she had kind eyes and a warm smile. She offered to remedy the inconvenience via hilton honors points although I booked through a 3rd party. Our interaction was brief but her response was supportive.||Overall Nice hotel with modern updates. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast for a hilton. Minus one star for Sarah. The other star I deducted is because the carpet could use some refreshing or needs to be pulled up in the hallways and rooms. The smell occasionally made me nauseous however; the rooms did otherwise...

I am a medical traveler and have been working at a hospital in Indianapolis for the past 6 months. I stay here 3 nights each week and return home the rest of the week. To start- the front desk employees are excellent and extremely pleasant and friendly. The kitchen staff are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet and make a delicious breakfast. The cleanliness of the rooms however is lacking. I can appreciate this is a more affordable Hilton in the area so I don’t expect 5 stars across the board but this is unacceptable. I’ve stayed in over 8 different rooms on the 1st,3rd,and 4th floors and there have been problems with every single one. Initially when arriving to the room, my coworker and myself check the rooms for cleanliness and at one stay the mattresses both had huge yellow stains and no mattress protector and we asked the front desk to move us and she called housekeeping and we had to move to 3 different rooms before we found one with clean mattresses and mattress protectors. At another time when arriving to the room and putting our lunch in the refrigerator we found it full of beer and yogurt containers- it was clean despite the items left from a previous guest but if you aren’t checking the refrigerator what else are you skipping over. There was another stay where we were there for 2 days, checked out, went home for two days, and then checked back into the same room later that week and the sheets had not been changed on the bed and I knew this because I had spilled orange juice on the cover and the orange juice was still there. We now bring two sets of full sheet and comforter sets with us to replace the blankets on the beds. I have yet to find the shower/shower curtain free of an abundance of hair. We also now bring a set of cleaning supplies to clean the shower upon our arrival. I can appreciate that many industries are short staffed right now but short staffed should not mean that you do not properly clean the room before moving to the next room, it should mean that you don’t make it to the next room because you only had enough staff to thoroughly clean the rooms you made it to. We have complained to house keeping about the cleanliness and were told by the head of housekeeping “my girls, they try their best”. If this was one stay where we were not completely satisfied I would have just taken it as an unpleasant experience but every stay is something else and we are spending about $320 per week...
