...Just really hard to find||So...I found it online in a last ditch move to go to the Democratic|| Convention last June....I waited til the last minute and my rez for the Airbnb downtown went to someone else...dang !||Shadeland sounded like a beautiful place near a northern section of Indy that I was familiar with....not !||Shadeland itself is a highly industrialized section of Indy that is however only about 15 minutes from downtown by freeway....and close to very wealthy shopping and residential sections of Indy if you arent afraid to move around by car....some parts are a bit scary||The Inn is a mixed bag of mostly poorer visitors...staying there with various problems that are very evident....if you are a scardy cat...dont go there....I stayed in one of the rooms in the front of the Inn....highly recommended....I was not afraid of the other guests coming and going, who on the surface, looked like 'gangsters and druggies'...many were visiting family from other states and could only afford Shadeland ...my room was large...big screen tv...refridg..bath..bed and clean....no bugs!||I arrived at midnight and decided to stick it out....inside...there is a big abandoned atrium with and abandoned pool....still nice but not usable...there is a glass enclosed restaurant attached that is also closed...so one time...it was the coolest||The front desk is Plexiglas enclosed lol omg but the Indian family owners are very kind to their guests, who I actually got to meet over 5 days...and I was actually glad I stayed...really....||If you are the luxury seeking type...no way...but if you want to save money and have a sense of humor.....stay in the front rooms...but go for it.....then spend the money you saved on horribly overpriced Indy hotels on a lovely restaurant not far from the...

It's a nice hotel is still under some renovations but once completed I would say it will b a very nice place to stay for the cost most all rooms located indoors, very large indoor pool arcade games for the kids, a nice little store to buy small meals snacks and drinks at any hour of day multiple ball rooms and business meeting rooms as well under totally new management and also has constant security on the grounds...They offer weekly rates that are very reasonable and monthly rates as well,By far my most favorite thing with this hotel is that as long as you do not cause problems,party's loud music smoking in rooms,things along those lines they never bother you they also have very reasonable laundry prices bout one dollar a wash and one dollar seventy five cents for drying...When most other hotels in or around this area charge at least 2.50 a wash and 3.25 a dry for washers and dryers half the size...I would recommend if you are looking for a hotel on shadeland ave in this price range go to the shadeland inn, if you are looking to spend a little more money the next hotel I recommend would be the completely remodeled budget 8 at 21st and shadeland they run 62.00$ plus ten dollar key deposit which u get back at check out...And if u want higher end than that across the street from budget 8 is candlewood sweets for 100 a night which are the amazing rooms bedroom and living room and small kitchenett very much worth the...
