There are places you like at first sight. There are places you dislike at first sight. And... there are places you like at first sight but not so much on a second look. Sadly, for us, Napolis was the third case. The staff is certainly friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The clientele are mainly familiar repeat customers, often known to the staff by name. There is friendly banter and a great atmosphere. The shop looks tiny from the outside but is surprisingly well laid out for maximum customer dining space. The place is quite clean, as well, at least the dining area. After my initial highly positive impression, a few less positive details started to kick in. The food was ordinary, perhaps mediocre, while prices were on the high side. I had a sausage calzone and my mother had a spinach one. Mine contained sausage and hers contained spinach. End of story. Nothing to see here, please move along. In the dining area, there was a TV turned to a televangelist program and it was loud. Each to their own preference but I would have preferred something quieter and less strident during my lunch break. If you thought the dining area was compact, the restroom was even tinier, a walk-in water closet, if you will. If you can find the restroom...... While visiting the restroom, I unfortunately saw into the kitchen. It wasn't unsanitary but it was disorganised and did not impress. I love local, family run establishments and I like to support them but.... overall, I would have given a 2.5 stars, if that were an option. Pro Tip Find your way to the restrooms before you leave, around the far corner of the counter, through the stacks of soda bottles and almost in the kitchen. You will feel a bit like Indiana Jones .

WARNING: My Napoli’s 18” stuffed pizza was missing a piece when I got home. No, it wasn’t their fault—it was mine. Somewhere between pickup and my front door, the irresistible aroma overpowered my willpower, and before I knew it, a slice had mysteriously disappeared… into my mouth. This pizza is pure magic—layer after layer of gooey cheese, savory pepperoni, hearty sausage, and earthy mushrooms, all wrapped in a golden, crispy crust. Each slice isn’t just food; it’s a full-on Italian feast. They say it feeds eight, but let’s be honest, if you have no self-control (like me), you might need to order two. Pro tip: If you’re grabbing carryout, do yourself a favor and ask for a paper plate. Because trust me, that pizza isn’t making it home intact.

First time going and it was à nice experience. Josh was very kind and took great care of me. The salad was amazing. I ordered a build your own calzone, a stromboli and a bread stick. The dough is amazing the salad was great. My only critique is my stromboli was dry on the inside I felt it needed sauce and cheese mixed all in like a glue to hold it all together. With no sauce and cheese throughout on the inside the toppings just spilled all over the place and the sauce would of helped cook the veggies more too. My onions were strong and raw. The cheese was just on the top. It was tasty and ill give it a 5 out of 10 the sauce throughout would of gave it a 10. Will i go back yes i will I'm eager to try more items.

Great food, HORRIBLE customer service.

They have the best pizza we have ever had & the prices are great. We order from there probably once every 2 weeks and tip the drivers over 20% every time in cash.

This time I called to order, I gave the guy on the phone my name, phone #, address, & order, & was then told to "hold on a sec". I could tell he put the phone down, I could hear the woman owner/manager talking to other people and taking order and there was a baby screaming. He clearly walked away from the phone to go do something else. I sat waiting for him to come back to the phone for 5-6 minutes before hanging up to call back. I tried calling repeatedly for over 10 minutes to give my payment info, because I was paying with my card, and to make sure my order was being placed; I kept getting the busy signal.

I finally got a hold of them and at that point I wanted to cancel my order. I didn't know if my order was being made or not so my boyfriend and I decided to leave and go somewhere for dinner. They told me my order was already finished and proceeded to argue with me about the order process. The owner told me they were busy and the guy on the phone had to go help other customers while placing my order. That's not how things work. Or if you walk back to the phone and the person isn't there, you call them back to apologize for the wait, confirm the order, and take payment.

Due to MY actions, the owner advised me that he was keeping my name & phone # and will refuse to place any future orders for me. That's fine, I don't want to do business with a company that disrespects their customers over something their employee did wrong. They aren't punishing me, I can order pizza from somewhere else; they are the ones losing $.

I have a feeling, even if we wouldn't have gone somewhere, they would have shown up and asked for cash payment and I would have only had enough cash to tip the driver since I wasn't given the opportunity to pay with my card.

Also, I've tried to order several items listed on the online menu only to be told they are only offered at the...

Best Pizza place in Indiana by Far, most other places like papa johns and domino's don't compare to this place, fresh good pizza sold here and nice deals for big pizzas, I'd recommend asking for your pizza to be crispy as the bread taste even better then. Overall I'm a picky pizza eater and when I left Chicago this was the best place I found here in Indianapolis and haven't stopped going here since (Edit this place has gone downhill on the service, originally it was a older lady who delivered and a gentleman who spoke Spanish, very well mannered and spoken to customers. They’ve hired some younger guy who is so slow that I think mentally something’s wrong with him, he talks to you like disrespectfully, gotten so tired of the bs from them having him take the orders that I’ve stopped ordering and it sucks. Loved the place. Ordered weekly now I’m down to 1-3 times a year if I do order. Service has gone down hill and I really hope the owner lets him go or puts someone else on the phone. Can’t believe this dude says “we can’t do 1/4 of a pizza with the toppings you want” and then proceeds to explain to me “that’s only like 4 slices with toppings” you don’t say? That’s exactly what I asked for but you can tell math isn’t his thing based off his demeanor UPDATE 5.30.2025 Service has gone to crap here, they still remain best in terms of quality of food, but the service from cashier, to the people that answer the phone, to the people who make the pizza is very nasty, not sure if it’s the owners family or just random workers but he needs to put his foot down, I know another family owned restaurant that in just a couple years have shot up to one of the most visited, and they all make really good money, consumers will not want to spend where they don’t feel welcomed, if you’ve never tried this pizza it is amazing, but sorry if your experience is horrible due to the younger ladies and younger men that have been...

  • BE CAREFUL VERY UNSANITAZED I WAS A FIRST TIME CUSTOMER I HEARD THEIR PIZZA WAS GOOD AND WANTED TO GIVE IT A TRY!!! NOT NOW!!!

As we was waiting for our pizza to be baked, i just so happened to look over at the cook that was baking my pizza by the oven, and seen that he did in fact have gloves on. As i was looking at him he had first went to wipe his nose WITH the gloves on, that's what caught my attention. As he wiped his nose he then reached for someone order of bread sticks with the same hand he had wiped his nose with and began to throw them into the oven. I then went to the other side to pay closer attention to him. At this time he didn't have on any gloves and was turning the pizza in the oven with his bare hands after wiping his hands on his apron, then walked the back of the store came back quickly open the oven and touch the pizza in the oven with his bare hands again. At that time i politely ask him if he could wash his hands and put glove on to handle my pizza. He stated "no i cant because the oven is hot" i stated " well that would be appreciated because i just witnessed you just wipe your nose with your hand". he then went to try to tell me my eyes were a lie and deny it. My husband i then witnessed another young lady worker WITH glove on sniffle and then wiped her nose with her gloves. Then she went to grab her cell phone out of her back pocket lay it on the preparing counter and began to scroll on her cell phone. All while having the same gloves on. At this time i was over it and then requested my money back because of the unsanaitized environment we had witnessed. They did return the money and i left. Never again! If you get pizza from here please go and watch them...
