Great food, HORRIBLE customer service.
They have the best pizza we have ever had & the prices are great. We order from there probably once every 2 weeks and tip the drivers over 20% every time in cash.
This time I called to order, I gave the guy on the phone my name, phone #, address, & order, & was then told to "hold on a sec". I could tell he put the phone down, I could hear the woman owner/manager talking to other people and taking order and there was a baby screaming. He clearly walked away from the phone to go do something else. I sat waiting for him to come back to the phone for 5-6 minutes before hanging up to call back. I tried calling repeatedly for over 10 minutes to give my payment info, because I was paying with my card, and to make sure my order was being placed; I kept getting the busy signal.
I finally got a hold of them and at that point I wanted to cancel my order. I didn't know if my order was being made or not so my boyfriend and I decided to leave and go somewhere for dinner. They told me my order was already finished and proceeded to argue with me about the order process. The owner told me they were busy and the guy on the phone had to go help other customers while placing my order. That's not how things work. Or if you walk back to the phone and the person isn't there, you call them back to apologize for the wait, confirm the order, and take payment.
Due to MY actions, the owner advised me that he was keeping my name & phone # and will refuse to place any future orders for me. That's fine, I don't want to do business with a company that disrespects their customers over something their employee did wrong. They aren't punishing me, I can order pizza from somewhere else; they are the ones losing $.
I have a feeling, even if we wouldn't have gone somewhere, they would have shown up and asked for cash payment and I would have only had enough cash to tip the driver since I wasn't given the opportunity to pay with my card.
Also, I've tried to order several items listed on the online menu only to be told they are only offered at the...
Read moreBest Pizza place in Indiana by Far, most other places like papa johns and domino's don't compare to this place, fresh good pizza sold here and nice deals for big pizzas, I'd recommend asking for your pizza to be crispy as the bread taste even better then. Overall I'm a picky pizza eater and when I left Chicago this was the best place I found here in Indianapolis and haven't stopped going here since (Edit this place has gone downhill on the service, originally it was a older lady who delivered and a gentleman who spoke Spanish, very well mannered and spoken to customers. They’ve hired some younger guy who is so slow that I think mentally something’s wrong with him, he talks to you like disrespectfully, gotten so tired of the bs from them having him take the orders that I’ve stopped ordering and it sucks. Loved the place. Ordered weekly now I’m down to 1-3 times a year if I do order. Service has gone down hill and I really hope the owner lets him go or puts someone else on the phone. Can’t believe this dude says “we can’t do 1/4 of a pizza with the toppings you want” and then proceeds to explain to me “that’s only like 4 slices with toppings” you don’t say? That’s exactly what I asked for but you can tell math isn’t his thing based off his demeanor UPDATE 5.30.2025 Service has gone to crap here, they still remain best in terms of quality of food, but the service from cashier, to the people that answer the phone, to the people who make the pizza is very nasty, not sure if it’s the owners family or just random workers but he needs to put his foot down, I know another family owned restaurant that in just a couple years have shot up to one of the most visited, and they all make really good money, consumers will not want to spend where they don’t feel welcomed, if you’ve never tried this pizza it is amazing, but sorry if your experience is horrible due to the younger ladies and younger men that have been...
Read moreAs we was waiting for our pizza to be baked, i just so happened to look over at the cook that was baking my pizza by the oven, and seen that he did in fact have gloves on. As i was looking at him he had first went to wipe his nose WITH the gloves on, that's what caught my attention. As he wiped his nose he then reached for someone order of bread sticks with the same hand he had wiped his nose with and began to throw them into the oven. I then went to the other side to pay closer attention to him. At this time he didn't have on any gloves and was turning the pizza in the oven with his bare hands after wiping his hands on his apron, then walked the back of the store came back quickly open the oven and touch the pizza in the oven with his bare hands again. At that time i politely ask him if he could wash his hands and put glove on to handle my pizza. He stated "no i cant because the oven is hot" i stated " well that would be appreciated because i just witnessed you just wipe your nose with your hand". he then went to try to tell me my eyes were a lie and deny it. My husband i then witnessed another young lady worker WITH glove on sniffle and then wiped her nose with her gloves. Then she went to grab her cell phone out of her back pocket lay it on the preparing counter and began to scroll on her cell phone. All while having the same gloves on. At this time i was over it and then requested my money back because of the unsanaitized environment we had witnessed. They did return the money and i left. Never again! If you get pizza from here please go and watch them...
