We stayed here for 6 days after Christmas and it suited all our needs. The staff was really great, the price was decent, the single-king bed room was very comfortable, and the area was quiet with a good view.

Just a few gripes:

  1. The room card stopped working randomly on the third day, but the front desk quickly fixed the issue. 2) The bathroom door wouldn’t fully latch shut, which, when combined with the roaring bathroom ventilator that comes on with the light, woke up my fiancé a couple times early in the morning. Just a little inconvenient.
  2. There weren’t enough plugs on the wall for the mini-fridge, microwave, and TV, so I had to move the fridge and unplug one in order to get the TV functioning. Not a problem since we didn’t really use the microwave.

The breakfast was decent for tiding one over until later, but nothing fancy. 5/6 days there were two choices of cereal, bread to make toast, peanut butter, butter, jam, pre-packaged pastries, yogurt, juice, and coffee. One day, someone had some very hungry kids who ate nearly all the cereal in the dispenser, but staff restocked when alerted.

I would definitely consider staying here again when we visit friends and family there...

It's what I expected a 2* hotel. I wasn't expecting luxury and it wasnt. The room was quite large. I will say they performed daily changing of linens which you don't get in many 4* hotels these days. Plus the bed was comfortable and not too firm or squishy. I'm giving this a 3* rating because of the price point during a busy weekend when every other hotel was $350/night minimum. Otherwise it's an ok hotel and realistically a 2*. (On par with some remote hotels I've stayed in rural areas of Africa and India, except here I could wash my toothbrush with tap water)

The area is quiet and felt safe. Near many restaurants and shops, but hotel location feels isolated which is ok because it was nice and quiet.

The beds were comfortable, rooms had a fridge and everything worked. Although odd there was a sign that said don't fill the bathtub with water?

The furniture and bedding were quite dated and some areas were worn down. But, for the price (especially during a large event weekend) the room worked...

Room is large and quiet but not baby or kid friendly. Outlets where TV, fridge, and AC units are plugged in are not blocked by furniture and are easily unplugged by our 1 year old. The stove knobs are on the front of the unit and are easily accessed and turned by the baby. Neither the lock on the door nor the safety lock at the top of the door worked so both the 1 year old and 4 year old were able to let themselves out. Also the plug in the bath didn't didn't work so I was not able to give the children a bath. No "do not disturb" sign was given with the room and house keeping let themselves in (no knock out warning call first) while I was nursing the baby to sleep for a nap (again, neither lock worked). The carpet looked clean but turned the bottoms of our feet black. The room was priced well for a suite on thanksgiving, but this motel seems to have not been updated...

The hotel is close to shopping and restaurants. Close enough to be considered walkable. The room was nice and tidy, no weird smells. The bed though was not comfortable at all. It was hard as a rock and the pillows were like little biscuits. The owners could probably invest in newer furnishings. The couch was stained and filthy looking as was the antique-ish looking chair. I stayed one night and the room served it’s purpose. The staff I encountered were very polite and I had zero issues with them.

Very expensive for what you get. It's definitely off the road. Like almost five miles off the freeway. The bed was hard as a rock. The floor was extremely filthy. Even the bathroom didn't have a full faucet. All night long I heard creaks and noises all over the bedroom. The place is in shambles. Don't waste your money. On the upside the young man at the front desk in the evening was very nice.
