We stayed here for four nights last week. For the nightly rate of over $100 this place was a disappointment! We have stayed in much nicer RV parks for $60 a night. If it wasn't for the location they wouldn't get $60 a night for short term visitors. One of the bathrooms near the garbage area had a blood splat on the wall that there for several days. The other bathrooms and laundry rooms were also dirty and smelled. The place is runned down and tired looking. We were in site 104 and our neighbor in 103 had garage and broken boxes under his old trailer. At least they were quiet. The only things going for the place was its location and 24 hour locked gates.

This place is not representative of a Sun Outdoors establishment. The photos on the website do not reflect reality. No picnic tables, no fire pits. There is absolutely nothing to do here except use the pool which is over run by full timers. Over 75% full timers who are friendly but this is no vacation spot. Staffed only m-f regular business hours. I will say the tv pads on the one street for vacationers are nice but really that’s all

Great RV park, quiet and clean. Wind blows and you have a breeze in the afternoons. Some spaces are better than others depending on your rig/coach. We have a class A with a slide and couldn’t back any further because of the pole on our big slide side meaning we had to park our vehicle in their clubhouse parking. The gate code changes every/other Tuesday and they didn’t tell us-luckily a resident was coming in at the same time.

We stayed here for a week and paid approximately $1200 for a one bedroom park model. From the moment we arrived it was awful. We had mail delivered and the mail system (the office) is so screwed up that our mail was missing, in the office, for days. Besides that, we arrived to a total plumbing problem. Cloudy murky water coming out of both the kitchen and the bathroom sink, as well as the tub. We contacted the office and they sent out a guy named Dwayne who took off the filters from the faucets and said he’d be back. Well we were thinking that day of course. Well, we were there an entire week and he never did come back. Therefore, when we used the faucets, the water would blow all over and make a mess. However, we couldn’t really use the faucets anyway because of the nasty water, and had to use bottled water for coffee and brushing our teeth and washing dishes, etc. It was ridiculous. We saw Dwayne several times after that day in the park and he completely blew us off...like there wasn’t an issue??!!!Completely ignored us. At one time we even asked him if he was coming back and he mumbled on that he didn’t have the part and he would have to go get it but he never did that and they left us hanging for the entire week. As well, the tub was clogged and would not drain and it was disgusting. Again, we complain and nobody came. I then went to the office to speak to some sort of a manager and complain that Dwayne never showed back up and we are still living with the plumbing issue. They shot me off to speak with Sherry, whom I assume is the manager, and at the time seemed concerned and gave us a 10% discount which was about $100, nothing really, but even so...nobody ever came to fix the plumbing. During the last day of our stay, I then spoke to her, in which she said “we really need to get in there” and I said “well, at this point there’s no need” and she said “oh yes, we’ve got back-to-back people coming in so we need to get in there and get it fixed”, in which I replied “OK that’s fine” and still, nobody came. Another thing to note is there’s absolutely no towel hooks or bars in the bathroom. You have to lay your towel on the toilet or the very little room on the countertop and then when you get out you wet towel needs to go back on either the toilet or the very little counterspace. Plenty of room on the walls for towel hooks but nothing. It’s a cute little place, but definitely not like renting a vacation rental and we would never ever stay here again. Do you self a favor and go around the block to Indian waters or find another place because they are you will get a way better rate and a way better place to stay with way better management and way better people living there. The new people they have moving into this park or not what it used to be. It used to be a very renting a vacation rental and we would never ever stay here again. Do yourself a favor and go around the block to Indian waters or find another place because there you will get away better rate and a way better place to stay with way better management and way better people living there. The new people they have moving into this park are not what they used to be. It used to be a friendly, welcoming place to come and it no longer is. No street parking, yet no visitor parking except for clear up at the office. Very inconvenient to say the least. This is not a welcoming or friendly park...stay away, you’ll be...

They wouldn't pro-rate me $486.00. I was told to contact my Lawyer. This is the email that I had to send them today. Stay away people. ||||To whom it may concern,|||| I checked into space 202 on June 26, 2021. I checked out on July 13, 2021. I spoke with Sean in your office regarding the pro-rate of the spot I had rented through August 1, 2021. He stated as an employee of Indian Wells RV Resort that I would be pro-retreated for the month of July. I called and spoke with Kendra Allen on 7/14/2021 and 7/15/2021 regarding this issue. I was told on both occasions that I wouldn't receive any portion of a refund. While one the phone with Kendra Allen, she told me that she had spoken with Sherri and Kathleen. I am not sure who they are. It must be Kendra's superiors. Kendra on July 13, 2021 talked to her superiors and "WILL NOT" refund any money for a early check out. ||||I am looking at a $486.00 refund for leaving my spot. I told the staff at Indian Well RV Resort in advance that I would do so. I was told by Sean that I could be refunded. ||||It is not stated in any of my initial deposit or monthly payment that If vacated the premises before my pay period ended that I wouldn't be pro-rated the difference. In this case almost more than half of month. ||||When I spoke with Kendra Allen tonight, Regarding this issue she reinstated that I wouldn't receive any refund. I told Kendra that I may have my Lawyer get involved. Kendra stated "You may have to just do that"..||||The unfortunate thing is that I work in construction and I recommended this place for my crews. You could have made a lot of money in the off season from them. Now I am telling them to stay away.||||All of this over $486.00?? Your place has 0...

Short story: Awesome RV/mobile park! Gated, everyone is nice, lots of pools, well kept, good enough Wi-Fi, within 2 miles of gas stations, Walmart, Smart & Final & many stores.

Long story: This place is a lovely gem in La Quinta. They have a lot to offer: decent Wi-Fi where I was at in the park, reasonable lots for RVs with a little grass or patio between. There are three pool areas, two of which have jacuzzi tubs. The pools are open 24/7 which is awesome, and they ask that you just obey quiet hours. Maintenance is constantly working and they were cleaning the pools and decks every morning that we were there.

Hookups were easy, no issues with the sites. We are 36' with a toad and just fit in without disconnecting. The park is nice with many high-end coaches as well as permanent mobile homes on some sites. Some are older but all are well maintained.

Very active! Everyone is out riding bikes, walking, chatting at the dog park or just out on their porch or patio. Everyone was also very friendly (even to my two young and rambunctious kids), this was a HUGE plus--most are retired or 55+ but everyone was kind and upbeat as we played on our bikes in the puddles and roads.

Citrus trees grow throughout the park in abundance, we even had one at our RV site. I ate two grapefruits every morning during my stay and my kids loved scootering around the park to pick them off the trees.

Highly recommend. We had such a great stay we stayed an extra week to enjoy the pool and the bbq area! Will definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to other RVers and...
