On the 11/06/2024 my self along with 2 coworkers arrived at 1am to rent a double bed room, they charged us for one night almost 300 dollars ( not the correct price ) they over priced us, 1. The hotel was very nice along with the room BUT , we ASKED if breakfast was included right before we got there , we parked our truck NOT in the hotel because is pretty big and they told us THAT WE COULD PARKED INSIDE WITH NO PROBLEM and they NEVER mention there was an extra charged for that ! 2. The following Morning 11/07/2024 at around 10am the front desk lady assist me with the information I required her due we found out we need it to pay 17 dollars to eat breakfast when I specifically ASKED if it was included due one of our coworker was charged already and he didn’t even speak English. I went to ask this questions and to see if he can get re-found his 17 dollars back and spoke to a front desk lady that was VERY PROFESSIONAL AND SWEET and mention that “I’m sorry” but it wasn’t included and since she was NOT the one that assisted me through the phone the night before it was there mistake and that she was sorry for the inconvenience! But it is what it is although I wasn’t happy with what was going on she was very politely and I let it slide 3. Once we decided to leave the hotel around 10 AM in the morning we went to go get the truck to leave the hotel and we noticed we couldn’t get out , There was a young lady that works at the Valet That was right next to a gentleman that works at the Valet as well that was extremely sweet and nice but HER ! . When we were leaving by the gate and notice we couldn’t get out , we opened the truck and the truck made a noise and she assumed we were making noises in the truck and she put her finger in her mouth to shut us down and that was very unprofessional !!!!!! 4. Moving forward she approaches us along with the other gentleman not very professional Letting us know that we can’t get out because it’s valet and due to that we needed to pay an amount of $28 we were explaining her very upset already thats a mistake and that we did not know about it , trying to explain her everything she decided to give us attitude and leave the scene. I had to follow her in the hotel do that she wanted to speak to the manager trying to see if she can get the thing resolved thinking she had her rights while being very ratchet and unprofessional giving us her back nasty attitude while using her phone and NEVER FACED the situation THE PROPER WAY !!! “when we asked this question and we were making sure right before we pay and they did not did their job right” 5. There was a manager around the same area and she was extremely professional very Very Understandable although I was very upset and losing already. She was able to calm me down although she couldn’t resolve the situation ( I’m assuming they need to go under investigation DUE the payment along with there policies where explained the night before “not her shift”. With this being said that MANAGER deserves a race of salary along with the sweet receptionist ! The valet individual on the other hand was so disgusting that I will NEVERRRR stay there and I’m going to make sure who ever I know don’t go thru the experience we went! She doesn’t deserve a job at that lovely hotel that we...
Read moreMy extended family & I traveled to Jackson, MS from Chicago, IL to attend my niece's graduate school graduation at nearby Jackson State University. Upon arrival, the staff seemed to be ok and the hotel clean although the actual block the hotel is located on has multiple abandoned/shuttered store fronts and/or businesses. The check-in process was ok but upon entering our rooms it was difficult figuring out how to turn on the TV and the thermostat seemed to be on heat but was blowing out cool air. They did not have any instructions on how to get a signal on the TVs. My nephew had to come down from another room to show me after he spent some time troubleshooting how to turn on the TV in the room he was staying in. My cousin's room had no heat and he was told by the staff that they could not do anything about it. & We/he would have to take the issue up with Priceline since that's who the room(s) were reserved through. I went down to try to rectify the issue since the rooms were reserved by me via Priceline and was told the same thing by a different staff member. I asked to speak with the manager, Mark, and was told that the information given by his staff was absolutely wrong and that he would have someone come to my cousin's room to fix the heat. The person came to the room and turned the heat on, but it went back to blowing cool air shortly thereafter. Ultimately, the problem was never fixed. Also, my cousin mistakenly left his jacket hanging up in the closet & called back later on that night to have someone to check to see if it was placed in lost & found. His daughter was still staying at the hotel and would be able to retrieve it for him. She & He [his daughter & my cousin] was given the run around and was told that they had no key to go and look in the "lost & found room" and was told that he would have to call back in the morning after 7 am. Only after becoming irate and adamantly requesting for a manager's assistance, "the missing lost & found key magically appeared" and the daughter was told that the jacket was found [valued over $400] and she was able to go down to the reception area and get her father's jacket. Also, I discovered the next morning after checking out that I had left my makeup bag in my room and called the hotel to see if it was turned in. In my makeup bag, I had a lot of products that were a part of my makeup routine and 2 bottles of expensive perfume; [Prada: Paradoxe Intense & Carolina Herrera Good Girl]. The makeup bag was turned in and my niece who was still staying at the hotel and who was checking out that morning picked up the bag for me. The bag was returned but my 2 bottles of perfume were stolen/removed from the bag. I was complimented on the smell of my perfume by a few members of the staff during my stay and even told them upon inquiring, the names of the fragrances I was wearing. I am truly dismayed and saddened that this occurred and that I had to experience the theft of my personal items. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with a hotel stay and as a Hilton Honors member as well I am absolutely disheartened. If I could've given a ZERO-"0" rating just for the theft & attempted theft of my & my family member's personal belongings/items, I most...
Read moreTo start with, the place has had renovations which definitely improved its appearance. The problem starts with parking. They have started to Valet park, which is okay. The issue was when I parked, I didn't have money of a tip - so I asked if they had a ATM inside. I then tipped and moved on. The next day, I parked and as I was going inside, the attendant remarked, "I don't see a tip in your hand". REALLY. First of all, it's optional. Second of all, you NEVER ask that question. Third, I was going to get money for a tip like I did previously.||Next is the wifi. Hilton properties have and issue with Firesticks and so to log in you have call support to provide your MAC address and then you can get into the system. I've done it many times. At this location, I called support and was told that I needed to contact the hotels support since they weren't part of the Hilton corp tech team. No big deal, it's happened before. I called the front desk and was told they didn't know the support number for the system. They told me they have never had to call support and never needed the number. I figured, okay, maybe it's just the night shift. No, I got the same message from one member of the morning team. Luckily, there was another person there and she knew exactly what I was talking about. She didn't have the number for support but promised me I would have it when I returned at the end of the day. Great! Well, hold on... when I returned, she wasn't there and no one knew what she was talking about.||The so called lobby store had no supplies like toothpaste, razors, headache powders, etc..... just empty spaces. They had no information about hotel management visible. When I went for breakfast, I had the worst pancakes ever (they were thick like cornbread - not hot and fluffy and the sausage patties were cold. The glasses for the juice were filthy.||As I checked out, I met the GM (Mark Howard) and expressed my issues and left my name and phone number. He genuinely seemed concerned and vowed to have the issue with the WiFi corrected. Never heard back. I should have checked my bill before leaving because I found that the $10 a day credit you receive as a diamond member had only been applied once, and I was charged for the Valet parking after I had already paid for it via the app. I called about the missing credit and the charge for the Valet and was put on hold for 16 minutes (see picture). I called from another phone, while I was on hold on the other, to finally get help. I thought my issues were finally being addressed, but I never received an updated folio and when I checked online, the credit wasn't there and the charges for parking still remained.||This place needs an attitude adjustment with SOME, not all of the staff. There was no sense of can do in regards to some of my issues. They need to stock the market properly, contact the guests to check on their stay (like most other properties do via text at least once, sometimes twice, a day), have business cards out with the GM and Manager information available, clear up the issue with the Valet parking so that you aren't double charged, review the kitchen so that they are serving hot food and better food and follow up on issues when expressed by...
