Thalia Mara Hall — Attraction in Jackson

Needs to step up their game. I have not researched, but my guess is very low on the major city theatre halls Totem Poles. No food, no water, no place to sit, one of the doors thoroughly scratches so bad when it’s open, it hurts your teeth, ears and eyes. Inside is good, but before that, a cheap hotel conference room is no different. Parking is easy if you dodge the huge potholes. Vagrants can be intimidating to single women. I recently went to see The Nutcracker performed by Ballet Mississippi. I enjoyed the show and would like to see more shows here, however the “required mask mandate” for the auditorium was not enforced and that is not okay. I informed one of the attendants of my concern and she said that she would notify her boss but nobody came nor enforced the rules. Please do better about this because I paid my money based on the required mask mandate but was sadly disappointed in anyone...

As I grew up in the Jackson metro area it was a given that every year we would take a school field trip to see a play at Thalia Mara. Those are some of my most favorite memories from growing up.
