Update: Went to the gym today in the morning and spoke to the lady on the front desk who stated that she was covering for the day. I inform her of my situation in which the gym after I submitted the online cancelation had charge me on October, November and December. The front desk stated that she could clearly see my cancelation request and that she will inform the manager to contact me about processing a refund for the incorrect months charge on my card. Well guess: The manager call back stating that since I never came to the gym to sign the physical form , the cancelation was not processed, and that at no moment they stated that they were going to process a refund. Not only they misinform me, they were not able to communicate between each other before contacting the customer.
Its sad because their coaches are awesome but I guess they are so desperate they cannot process a cancelation and they need to hold on tie to your credit card to keep afloat.

Read moreMy wife was ill, and they wouldn’t allow her to cancel her membership over the phone despite telling them she wasn’t feeling well. We went to a different location earlier in the day and they said we could cancel over the phone no problem with our home location… They also only allow you to pause your membership for 120 days… so basically you can’t get pregnant if you go to orange theory.
They also bill you an additional month after you cancel even if you cancel 30 days before the next billing date as part of their “30 day cancellation policy”. They are friendly, but completely unwilling to accommodate cancelling over the phone even though she was throwing up. This place is already overpriced and their policies do not accommodate long term illnesses/pregnancies. I expect these kinds of money grabbing policies from planet fitness not a $100+ a month...

Everyone is welcoming and amazing at the desk and the coaches are awesome!
