I was actually really looking forward to my stay here based on all the reviews. I was looking for a boutique hotel a little more upscale than a motel. This establishment is an upgraded motel as you can see the bedroom beige paint chip off revealing some of the old green walls.
Upon evening check in, the gal at the front desk was really talkative and seemed like she was dying to chat with someone because she talked our ear off. Of course that 15 minute window made a huge difference. Plus she didn’t make the keys right so we had to go back downstairs to front desk and have her unlock the rooms for us. She was nice enough to let us in and come back with new keys.
Everything looked simple, old but clean. We left for dinner in Medford since there was literally nothing open. Once we came back in I was trying to settle my things on the nightstand but noticed the glass was a little foggy. No big deal at first but as I’m about to place my phone on the nightstand, I see some very thick coffee with creamer stains that were jelled up pretty high. I used hot water and their towels to get some off but couldn’t get it all off. What a huge disappointment especially after reading about there special attention due to COVID protocols.
I spoke with the general manager the next morning as I picked up breakfast. I showed her the pictures and she was very non chalant about it. She lightly apologized and just said she’ll let the cleaning folks to do a better job next time. I was truly disappointed that a general manager would be so non customer oriented given that most places has been hurting for business.
The food is a simple continental breakfast. You must check off the sheet for what you want (cup of coffee, tea or juice, fruit, granola or hard boiled eggs). The selection was very limited.
Though it’s a cute older style place, I would not recommend booking here if there are other places...

Read moreWe stayed at Wine Country Inn for one night to attend a wedding nearby. We booked this pet friendly hotel the morning of our stay and got their last room available (lucky!). Our single bed room was very close to the grassy dog park area that was fenced in, and it was PERFECT for our four-legged fur baby in tow for the road trip. The room was clean, cool upon arrival (a major bonus in 90-degree weather), and we had plenty of room for everyone and everything! We ordered a roll-away bed that was also very comfortable and in the room already upon arrival. The staff was super informative, helpful, and extra accommodating. The property was quiet, very well maintained, cute, simple, and close enough to the downtown area, restaurants, and shops. BONUS! It was only a five-minute drive from the wedding venue/winery/tasting room up the road. We totally scored and we will definitely be back for a concert at the amphitheater or a long weekend wine tasting sometime. Thanks...
