Gorgeous boutique hotel in Jacksonville, OR. We stayed in the King Suite with a jet spa tub, gas fireplace, and extremely comfortable bed. Short walk from downtown Jacksonville which had multiple restaurants, antique shops, historic buildings, and wineries galore! The staff at Wine Country Inn were extremely pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was included and the COVID-19 protocols were very reasonable and professional. Very clean rooms and property grounds were well maintained. Beer and wine were available for purchase in the lobby. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean rooms/bathroom...very courteous. The breakfast in the morning was just a really nice little breakfast to get you going for the day. Nice to walk around at that part of town, and they have a dog park on the corner connected to the motel. Very pet friendly. Parking is a little tight, but not bad. I will recommend this to friends and family that come to visit and I don't have the room for them. The rates are very reasonable too.

The staff was wonderful. They gave excellent recommendations for while we were in town. The rooms are clean! I was so happy they didn't have carpet, the luxury vinyl plank is nice, the beds were soft. They had a bureau for your clothes to hang, fridge in the room, plenty of outlets. Nicely located, we walked the short walk back after dinner downtown. I look forward to visiting there again!

I was actually really looking forward to my stay here based on all the reviews. I was looking for a boutique hotel a little more upscale than a motel. This establishment is an upgraded motel as you can see the bedroom beige paint chip off revealing some of the old green walls.

Upon evening check in, the gal at the front desk was really talkative and seemed like she was dying to chat with someone because she talked our ear off. Of course that 15 minute window made a huge difference. Plus she didn’t make the keys right so we had to go back downstairs to front desk and have her unlock the rooms for us. She was nice enough to let us in and come back with new keys.

Everything looked simple, old but clean. We left for dinner in Medford since there was literally nothing open. Once we came back in I was trying to settle my things on the nightstand but noticed the glass was a little foggy. No big deal at first but as I’m about to place my phone on the nightstand, I see some very thick coffee with creamer stains that were jelled up pretty high. I used hot water and their towels to get some off but couldn’t get it all off. What a huge disappointment especially after reading about there special attention due to COVID protocols.

I spoke with the general manager the next morning as I picked up breakfast. I showed her the pictures and she was very non chalant about it. She lightly apologized and just said she’ll let the cleaning folks to do a better job next time. I was truly disappointed that a general manager would be so non customer oriented given that most places has been hurting for business.

The food is a simple continental breakfast. You must check off the sheet for what you want (cup of coffee, tea or juice, fruit, granola or hard boiled eggs). The selection was very limited.

Though it’s a cute older style place, I would not recommend booking here if there are other places...

  1. The location was great, though it can be a bit noisy at night for those that don't believe in mufflers.
  2. Service was great with email/text responses to the check-in process and unlocking our shared rooms door.
  3. The rooms were lacking in many area's. The floors are not carpeted and brown in color. We saw a small stain on the floor and used a sanitizing wipe to clean and the wipe turned dark brown. The area's around the corners, behind furniture, and around the bed's base had food, dirt, pennies, and hair. The bathroom is dimly lit which is why there were numerous "hairs" in the tub and shower wall. Finally, my room (105) had a mini-fridge in the credenza below the T.V. I had to turn it off because it made odd "wind through the tree's" sounds. Great for Halloween, but not when trying to sleep.

I understand the "charming" aspect of a quaint cottage located in a small town and we're appreciative of the service we received, but please take a little more time cleaning these rooms. Vacuums are still necessary even in the...

We stayed at Wine Country Inn for one night to attend a wedding nearby. We booked this pet friendly hotel the morning of our stay and got their last room available (lucky!). Our single bed room was very close to the grassy dog park area that was fenced in, and it was PERFECT for our four-legged fur baby in tow for the road trip. The room was clean, cool upon arrival (a major bonus in 90-degree weather), and we had plenty of room for everyone and everything! We ordered a roll-away bed that was also very comfortable and in the room already upon arrival. The staff was super informative, helpful, and extra accommodating. The property was quiet, very well maintained, cute, simple, and close enough to the downtown area, restaurants, and shops. BONUS! It was only a five-minute drive from the wedding venue/winery/tasting room up the road. We totally scored and we will definitely be back for a concert at the amphitheater or a long weekend wine tasting sometime. Thanks...
