Best Western Country Lane Inn — Hotel in Juneau

We just left after spending a week here. Id say overall it wasnt bad but the rooms we stayed in looked nothing like the pictures. Bathroom was very tiny and we had to maneuver around the toilet as we opened the door because they were so close together. They do not have a hot breakfast set up like the pictures. only have 2 small hot breakfast options (egg+potatoes and 2 pieces of bacon or 2 small pancakes + 2 pieces of bacon.. cant have both) thats premade and delivered to the hotel from another location otherwise you can eat in the lobby which only has 3 oatmeal options, 3 grab and go fruit options, yogurt, juice,coffee, and a few pastries (its the same stuff everyday). theres nothing for kids to do. staff was friendly, owner was very nice, the hotel shuttle driver we had seemed nice but also seemed annoyed. it was our 8 month olds first vacation and we accidentally forgot 1 of her souvenirs and a souvenir for her sister (whos no longer with us) we called about them but they ended up getting thrown away. so i was pretty...

Stayed here for 7 nights, 3 adults + 1 kid. Room was a tad cramped but we made it work. On the days we requested service, beds were made (had the sheets replaced once) and we got new towels, toiletries, etc. Went to the lobby every morning for coffee and the items that were set out. We didn't learn until halfway through our stay that we could order a hot breakfast to be delivered to the room (eggs/potatoes or pancakes, bacon optional + juice). Hotel is right down the road from the airport, so you regularly hear planes and all the tour helicopters, but it didn't affect our ability to sleep. It's nice that they had an oscillating fan in the room because there's no a/c and air circulation is minimal; we opened up the one window and regularly left the shutters and door open. Overall it was a great place to stay! Oh and it's far enough from town that you don't really deal much with the cruise ship crowds. Had a really nice stay at this hotel! The staff is very friendly and kind, the rooms are clean and cozy, and they bring you breakfast in your room in the morning! They have a choice between eggs and pancakes, I had the pancakes, they were delicious and packaged up in a cute little box with juice and condiments too. I had a room right at the top of the stairwell which can be noisy but they had earplugs on the nightstand just in case which was very much appreciated! I was surprised to hear the clerk say that they were booked pretty full, the hotel was so quiet and the way the rooms are entered from outside I hardly saw other people, they have a really nice setup. The rooms have a refrigerator and microwave too in case you want to save leftovers. The have fruit and coffee in the lobby which was really nice for a quick snack. Oh, and the evening of my stay they brought out cookies in the lobby! I definitely would stay here again, this is by far the nicest Best Western I've ever stayed in, they really went...
