A girlfriend and I traveled to Jupiter for a golden retriever event so of course we had our 2 dogs with us. We were lucky enough to be able to check in a little after noon and we got a room facing the pool but the double queen room we got felt quite cramped, the beds took up most of the room which isn't the best case scenario when you have 2 large breed dogs with you. I was happy to find out we had a balcony overlooking the pool but upon further inspection it quickly became clear that there was no way in the world that my friend, myself and our 2 dogs could all sit outside together - the chairs were so close to the railing that I felt like I was in an endless game of Twister. Saturday morning we headed out bright and early for our event with our dogs in tow and were gone for several hours and when we finally returned to the hotel - hot, tired, salty, sandy and in much need of a shower we discovered that our key cards wouldn't open our room door (worked perfectly fine on the outdoor entrances however). Our poor pups, who had been riding the waves for hours, were so exhausted that they simply laid down at the door of our room, refusing to move a step further, so after trying both our key cards with no success, I walked down the hall to the room a maid's cart was parked in front of to ask her for some assistance only to be faced with a young woman who could only speak enough English to inform me that she was petrified of dogs and didn't take too kindly to me asking for her help. I somehow managed to convince her to allow me to try her universal key card (while she observed, from a distance) which also failed to deny us entry to our room which I'm assuming is what led her to finally call for additional assistance. A man, who I assume was perhaps maintenance, showed up, tried his key card only to also be denied entrance as well then promptly turned to my friend (who had booked the room and unbeknownst to them was a Platinum Elite member) and told her that she needed to walk down to the front desk to make sure that her key card was not the issue. Before she even made it back to the room it became clear that someone, somewhere, realized that the issue had nothing to do with the cards we were issued because suddenly another man showed up with some sort of hand held meter to help the "maintenance" guy correct the issue which was apparently some sort of battery/programming issue. A few moments after I had been let into our room my friend returned and immediately noticed that our room had not been cleaned so she had to call down to the front desk who informed her that we needed to let them know we were leaving so they could clean - really?! in what universe??? My friend was furious and demanded she comp our room for the night which the manager did and also asked for them to bring up fresh towels, coffee and empty our trash cans. The same man who fixed the door issue returned promptly after, clearly this man has to be a jack of all trades since the actual housekeeper won't do her job because of her fear of dogs and management doesn't have enough sense not to place this woman on a floor filled with dogs due to our golden retriever event. While my friend was in the shower management did call back to make sure we had been taken care of but when I told her that my friend was showering but I assumed everything was fine now - the manager actually said to me that she could tell it was someone different on the phone because I was much calmer and nicer - WOW- open mouth, insert foot, perhaps the general manager should schedule some sensitivity training for their staff.

I have never felt so betrayed and deceive in my whole life during a service or purchase transaction. The room was supposed to have 2 king size beds, it only had 1, feel free to verify it. Room #347. I specifically requested an ocean front view room, turns out the hotel is like 1/2 mile away from the ocean. I really wanted to share a sunrise with my wife and daughter, that was not possible because a building that is located between the ocean and the hotel cover our view. The pictures on the website are extremely deceiving! It shows the water to be right there, making it look like the property is right on the beach, and they even have a picture with a sign stating beach access! Beach access to this hotel means a ramp that takes you out from the parking lot to the street that then you have to walk to make it to the beach. I estimate total distance from room to beach to be 1/2 mile! I was expecting to have an ocean front view as requested, and at best all I was able to do was count the electrical wires running between multiple poles obstructing the actual ocean that was far away. The disappointment began right away when we had to park far away from the assigned building due to the parking lot being blocked off for some type of sealant coating on the asphalt. We had to walk across that parking lot and it was slippery in many areas due to the sealant. And on top of that we had to carry our luggage farther away and deal with my special needs daughter and our dog. It was not fun with the huge inconvenience of parking lot being blocked off. To top it all off, when we decided to go to the pool, some lady had her two dogs in the pool. We like dogs, we are dog people, but dogs in the pool was just plain nasty and inconsiderate to the guests. I am extremely disappointed with the service received and long wait time during checking and check out.  It seemed to me like the staff was unprepared, and at times rude!  They saw me and others waiting and didn't address us until they felt like it. I didn't even bother arguing with the staff at all, out of courtesy for other guests. A refund is in order and expected. I have file a complaint with IHG aswell and hope to get this resolve immediately. The person I talked to over the phone to make reservation confirmed twice that our room came with 2 king size beds and that it was ocean front view. My next stop is BBB if this hotel doesn't make things right. I have emailed them without any replies. I would recommend for people to stay away from this place!

We were recommended this hotel by Perfect Game, the reviews were great. Our experience on the other hand NOT SO MUCH! We had a total of 10 families at this hotel. Of the 10 families 8 families had to move rooms due to A/C’s not working, 2 families had to move to 3 different rooms because mold and moisture issues. We were 5 hours from home, couldn’t afford to move hotels as we all had already paid for this stay so we had no choice but to stay. The gentleman at the desk was rude and felt because we worked through a third party NOTHING should be done for us mind you we spent $1,150. The pool was as hot as bath water, multiple dead rats by the pool. The dryer had to be ran 4 times to dry 8 baseball jersey’s. I went into the lobby hopeful they’d be understanding and helpful, the receptionist and the “housekeeper” called to help were both rude, stating “Well you stayed so it must not be too bad.” Room 121 they literally laughed at me when I said “The mold greets you at the door” I should have take photos of it in the bathroom, by the bed and at the sliding glass door also. We were given keys to 5 other rooms and told to pick the one we felt would suit us best, “If it’s an upgraded room we will cover the difference “ I understand this hotel is close to the water and has probably had hurricane damage, this is unacceptable. I have two children who are not feeling well now I may be making an ass of myself but I’m assuming the room we were moved to was also slap full of mold it was just covered up. This hotel should shut down for a little and fix it the ac issues and mold issues. This is a health issue!!! The location is wonderful, the fella and woman cleaning the rooms in building C were excellent, kind and very good at their job! Breakfast was also pretty darn good the few times we made it down to it.

I would not recommend this hotel. The rooms are old, dusty, and very musty stinky. The rooms and grounds area are not very clean. Saw some disgusting things lying around the sidewalks and hallways of the outside grounds. There was a used vaginal lubrication tube, (yes it gets inserted inside the vagina) lying in the rocks just outside our room's sliding glass door in patio area. I took a photo cause I was soooo grossed out. Watched multiple housekeepers walk past it. It remained there for the entire 3 days I stayed. Was still there when I checked out. I literally wrenched and strained my back and wrist on the hotel room door and the sliding glass patio door. Both doors are super heavy and almost impossible to open. Guest room door is very dangerous.....extremly heavy and hard to push open, then will slam back on you if your not careful to hold it open with all your might as you try to bring your luggage into the room. Im having to wear a wrist brace now, and lie down on a heating pad at night for my back pain from this trip due to the doors. The advertising for this hotel is very decieving. It is not on the beach, it is not oceanfront, and there are NO ocean views from the hotel. The beach is actually a block away. You have to walk out to the sidewalk, and walk a block down the street to get to the beach. Most of the staff were very friendly and accomodating, however, there is one housekeeper working here who is extremely rude and has a very nasty attitude! Upon asking front desk for a remote for the t.v. in my room cause there wasnt one provided, this particular housekeeper brought one to my room, but knocked once and immediately entered my room with her own key, without giving any time for someone to come to the door when she knocked once. She just walked right in demanding that we give her the other remote to the room before she would hand us the one she brought. She was told at the front desk that there was NO remote in the room to begin with, which is why we requested a remote be brought to the room in the first place. The bed sheets and towels were clean, but you will have to keep going to front desk to request new clean towels each day. The housekeepers will not give you any or bring any to you. They dont come and take trash or clean your room while you are checked in staying there. Several outlets in the room did not work, and the microwave was barely functioning. The rooms are dusty all over and under furniture too. Not very clean at all. The bathroom had a corner where the tile and drywall was busted out and crumbling. For the price I paid for this stay, I could have booked a better hotel or Airbnb, DIRECTLY on the beach for just a few dollars more, which is what I wanted in the first place. Again, advertising is very decieving!!! If all you need is a clean bed and towels, and a good hot breakfast, then this hotel is okay. But anything beyond that.... I would stay far away from booking this hotel. A few good points, but overall, it was terrible and completely below my expectations. The outside grounds area had lots of trash and food lying about and was completely disgusting! Skip this one entirely and book...

The management wasn't very helpful at times. We booked this hotel for my daughters wedding. We had many rooms booked, for family and friends coming to the wedding. They did remodel building C, but the problem was and this was told to us by the maintenance person, is that when they remodeled they didn't replace the air conditioning units. They were told when one breaks down we will go around and replace it with one that works. Not very good planning. The room I had was so hot, the air was set to 68 and the temp in the room was never under 78. My son wasn't feeling good and this just made it worse. But that wasn't the worse part, my daughter had a suite room booked actually 2 rooms. One for the bridemaids to get ready and one for the guys to get ready. The air in the living room didn't work in the brides room, I asked if there was a fan we can use to blow out some of the cooler air coming from the bedroom. Was told one will be sent up. That never came, I went down stairs to the front desk and was told then they have no fans. I said we have hair and makeup in that room getting done for 7 girls. I was told maintenance don't come in until 9. Well after 9 he came to the door and wanted us to all move over and stop the getting ready for over an hr. He told me that he has to replace the unit. The bride went crazy. We were on a schedule and didn't have an hr to wait. Plus to move everything set up Very unprofessional. Then about an hr later my husband went down again to complain about our room and of course mention how hot it was in the brides room. Well then to find out the grooms room was very hot also. His mom has breathing issues and was very hard for her. Finally some came up to my room and changed out the air conditioner. a little late because we were leaving for the wedding. The maintenance guy tried to do the brides room again, in the middle of pictures. I wouldn't recomend this hotel because of these issues. Now I booked with a 3rd party because it was cheaper, and they file a complaint with the hotel and they told them they aren't don't anything. Poor customer service.|Now the resort was 1 block from the beach, the breakfast was very good. But need to watch outsiders coming in and stock piling food to take with them. Hey if they are hungry, eat don't you certainly didn't have to take all that food. The pool area was very nice and the grounds were very clean. In Florida air condition is a necessary thing to have and this hotel failed...
