Puu Poa #306 — Hotel in Kauai

We are sad our Puu Poa vacation is coming to an end. We were in Unit 214 at the end unit on 2nd floor and had the most fantastic views of the ocean. Sunsets were unbelievable. Our unit was immaculate when we moved in and very nicely decorated. Property management couldn't have been nicer. We needed a few additional items for the kitchen ( to make it really functional for me who LOVES to cook when on vacation) and were immediately accommodated. The beds in the unit were fantastic and the sheets and linens high quality. The only minor complaint I have is the showers...it was impossible to get lukewarm to cold water out of the faucet. I have a suspicion it was the delivery system, the knobs and settings were really weird and higher pressure meant hotter water. I am no dummy, I know how to work a shower. This was a bummer because its hot and humid and a cool shower would have been lovely. The only other suggestion I would have for this beautiful unit is some sort of drape or shade in the living room, the afternoon sun made the unit unusable from the hours of 2 to 5, in which we simply took ourselves to the beautiful on site pool that over...

If you are going to Kauai, make sure you stay at Puu Poa condos in Princeville on the North shore, best location, best condos, 2000 square feet with ultimate beauty and comfort! Some of the condos have incredible sunset views, best sunset views I have ever seen and Bali Hai views, some of the condos only have ocean views but still incredible, however, nothing beats having dinner on the Lanai from the comfort of your own home with the glass of wine and watching the most incredible sunset ever, not to mention the amazing beach below, it's called hideaway beach, absolutely beautiful, we love love love...

Lovely place to stay on the north shore of Kauai. The views are spectacular and if you stay in a condo on the northern end of the complex you may get the views of Hanalei too.

The pool area is tidy and clean, the property management helpful and easy to get hold of if you have questions.

My only concern before arriving here was if the property would feel ‘generic’ or without character. But I’m happy to say I was wrong about that.

All apartments have a view, balcony and/ or a lanai and it doesn’t feel like you’re on top of each other the way other apartments do.
