Well, this pizza does not disappoint. At first I thought - I'm eating pizza in Hawaii?!? Lived my whole life in NJ/NY area until recently where I've had to lower my standards a smidge to eat and enjoy pizza (and I'm ok with that)- and this place kills it! Just all around delicious pie!!! Had the NY pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and fresh basil. The roni was real roni cups that curl up when baked, not cheap gross roni. And the sausage was fresh and not too greasy with great flavor. The sauce/cheese ratio was on point and the flavor was fantastic. What I was most shocked about was the undercarriage of my pie - sturdy and well cooked. I wouldn't recommend adding too many toppings to your pizza (in general) as the weight can effect that sturdiness creating the dreaded "flop effect" - but for being in one of the most humid climates of our country, this dough held up and wiki pizza knocked it out of the park with the way they cooked the pie. This was not the best pizza I've ever had, but Wiki sure does a hell of job making it delicious and cooked to perfection and will hit all of your pizza cravings. If your looking to mix up your Hawaiian vacation lunch or dinner give them a try - you'll be happy. Mahalo to Wiki for giving us a great dinner! P. S. You should make merch - your red pizza box and logo are pretty cute. Kinda wanted a shirt with a...
Read moreIf you’re travelling alone, absolutely skip this place. I never get quickly bothered by something, but this place was next level in rudeness. I also never leave bad reviews, but these people deserve it.
I was standing in line, curious about their pizza. When it was my turn to get a table, the waiter asked for how much people. I told hem it’s just me and then he looked annoyed, and I do understand that this isn’t always ideal from a restaurants perspective if a single person comes in for a whole table, but it’s all about how you communicate it to the customer. First, he looked annoyed about me being alone and was acting like there were no tables (there were many free tables). He pointed at the tables who had a nicer view, and then said: “Our guests like these, so I need to keep these free.” Eventually he gave me a seat behind some wall and then I started thinking: what just happened? What does he mean, ‘our guests’, am I not a worthy customer? When he came back I just told him I was bothered by it and I wanted to leave. I added: “I would even have moved to another table later on if a couple would come in.” He told me: “Sorry it’s policy.” This one really got to me, that’s next level rude. The karma-part was that their restaurant was basically empty 10 minutes later, and the neighbours (who were absolutely fantastic) were full...
Read moreLet’s be very clear about this and bring on the hate…anyone who gave this place 1 star in their review for service and timeliness needs to pump the brakes and get a life. ANY ESTABLISHMENT is subject to the staff they have to work with not what we WANT THEM to have.
There was a BIG sign at the front desk with a warning that they were short staffed and wait times could be expected. This was the case for our visit too. The difference is we expected it and soaked up the gorgeous view and family time.
Mike met us at the front desk and let us know of the circumstances. He gave us a table to wait at and assured we would be seated as soon as one became available. We waited about half an hour and the wait was worth it as we got a table against the glass overlooking Hanalei Bay.
Merari was our waitress and she was delightful and sweet. She apologized profusely without making excuses and she hustled all night table to table. Checking in as often as she could. Since we had the 30 mins head start we knew exactly what we wanted.
At the End of the Day we got garlic knots, a Cesar, the Margarita and a Wiki Supreme all for $130 with tip. We got great service and an amazing sunset. It wasn’t world changing pizza but was solid and we really enjoyed our experience. Anyone who rates a one star is a Karen who needs to remember...
