Absolutely stunning property and location. The spa is beautiful, clean and everything from the robes, spa products to chairs and towels feels very high quality. You do not have to be a hotel guest to use the spa services. The men’s and women’s rooms both have a steam and sauna which were lovely. While waiting for the treatment you can go to their “relaxation room” which features low lighting, tea, snacks and lounging beds and chairs. I LOVED being in here before my massage. I had a little nap, sipped tea and felt I really had a chance to drop into my body before the treatment. My massage was absolutely phenomenal- I loved every minute and felt very well taken care of. I did notice though not everything that was listed in the description was given during my time. A couple of things to note - I definitely recommend arriving early. Driving down past security and getting the car taken care of by valet does take some time. Additionally you fill out forms and get shown the space before being able to change and see your practitioner. I’d recommend getting there 30 minutes early. My partner had a massage booked and there was confusion about what time it had been booked for. They couldn’t accommodate a different time so they rebooked him for a float. Unfortunately he did not enjoy the float - the same song was on repeat for an hour which he found irritating and distracting. They did give a 25% discount for the confusion which I feel was very accommodating and generous. There does seem to be some kinks they are working out regarding booking people in for correct times and services. Additionally important to note there are pipes banging during treatment. It did not bother me but it did my partner.

I would 100% recommend coming here and indulging in some deep relaxation and self care. Definitely give yourself a half or full day so you can fully take advantage of...

When I was looking for a spa day to book during my time in Kauai, I came across the Bamford and was immediately excited since it had the vibe I was looking for, however some of the reviews made me hesitant to book, especially considering the price is nearly triple the cost of any massage I’ve ever booked.

However, I have to say that the service here is truly top notch! Not once did I find myself waiting during my experience - from checking in to being led back to the amenities/locker areas and to my massage. Everything was very well maintained and well stocked as well the entire time.

What I really want to highlight though is my therapist, Avery. She was incredible! We talked about some of my problem areas, things I wanted to focus on and I felt like she truly captured what I was looking for and delivered! This was seriously one of the best, if not the best, massage experience I’ve ever had! I got an 80 minute Lomilomi Pohaku massage and highly recommend it! Avery is a magician!

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles by Aliyah and Lou and a relaxing atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. Our esthetician Lacy and Michelle were incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, and they took the time to customize the facial to our specific needs and skin concerns. The Spa attendant Dawn and Lou are friendly and take such good care of us.

The entire experience was so rejuvenating and left us feeling refreshed and renewed. We are so grateful for the care and attention we received, and I can't thank you enough for making my birthday extra special.
