We stayed here for a romantic weekend away and had an amazing time. The resort is tucked away and feels a little off the beaten path despite being a quick 15 minute walk to the beach or to local shops and restaurants. The staff were very kind and accommodating. Our room had been updated, was clean and was quite spacious. The porch was a nice feature too and it was really quiet. The continental breakfast was what you would expect except the lodge stands out because they had some real gluten free options to choose from - locally made oatmeal cups, Chex cereal cups, yogurts, fruit, etc. Our favorite part was probably the fire pit. We had a great time hanging out together until late into the night. We wish we’d had time to use the bikes or take the complimentary kayak trip but sadly we ran out of time. We were disappointed that the pool closed so early. We would have loved some swim time after we returned from the day but it was locked up. Overall we loved our time here and will definitely be back!

Stayed here for one night on our way to Acadia National Park. The room was decent size and clean. It has a fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Bathroom has two sets of body wash, shampoo and conditioner. As some others have noted, they only provide a thin blanket. We were ok since it wasn't too cold at night. As a matter of fact, we turned on the A/C, which was a bit noisy. They provide a very basic continental breakfast with bagel, cereals, yogurt and fruits. Would have been nice to prove a simple hot oatmeal or boiled eggs. On the positive side, they have two fire pits by the pool. You can grill your own s'mores. Great for family gatherings. They also have free bike to borrow so you can ride to downtown area.

Stayed here for a SINGLE NIGHT. Originally, the listing had my total stay at around $300. Upon check in, they blindsided me with a $100 pet fee and said that any other charges were temporary and would be removed after check out. I checked my bank statement, and the total cost for a single night went up to over $500! They added over $200 of some very shady taxes and fees. Described only as "Destination Fee, Resort Fee, Community Impact Fee, and three separate Lodging Taxes.... for one night stay! Do not recommend!!

Our experience was mixed. The room was noisy the first night because our neighboring room was full of kids banging around as their parents talked on the front porch (the porches are a nice feature). We could hear people above as well -- we generally travel with a noise machine which helped. We eventually asked the parents to deal with their children, but the walls are thin. The landscaping around our porch was littered slightly with trash when we arrived (Hershey's kiss wrappers, chips). The floor molding in our bathroom (which didn't lock) had a black stain of what looked like mold. When we left, I checked for shoes under the bed and found what appeared to be a season's worth of dust bunnies. And a Cherrio. Surprising given what I assumed were increased cleaning protocols due to covid. The Dory , prominently featured on the website, is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays even during high season, so we couldn't use it.

The billing was also a problem -- the cleaning issues seem minor compared to this. When I booked this room on the Lodge's website, I selected a rate that was much lower than what we were actually billed. Had I checked my receipt -- which I didn't do, and now strongly regret -- I would have raised the issue with the hotel and possibly selected another place. The receipt listed an "estimated price" rather than the hard price I (believed I) booked. I used to travel as part of my job and have stayed at many hotels -- chains, boutique hotels, bed and breakfasts, resorts -- and haven't ever encountered a shifting, "ballpark" rate on the hotel's website leading to a surprise bill.

It's too bad. The staff was very friendly. I liked the idea of the hotel. The pool was great -- definitely for kids, but great given the scale of the lodge. It's well located in Kennebunkport. We could walk to everything. My husband and I could have overlooked the cleaning issues if the billing hadn't been so...

We stayed as part of a Titan tour group. Rooms here are chalets. Ours was very nice and spacious with a comfy large bed. At times there was noise from an a/c unit behind our chalet which was annoying. There was no mirror in the bedroom yet two in the bathroom one of which was sited much too low to be of any use. The tiled floors had clearly not been cleaned for a very long time, I had a shower, walked back in the bedroom and immediately had very dirty feet, not good enough.|In our room cups were provided for the coffee machine (no other plastic cups or glasses) however there were no instructions for the machine and there were no spoons or stirrers, I tried to use the machine and was just left with a stodgy mess.|The TV in the room was unusable for us, it had two remotes and apparently is based on apps yet the very limited instruction sheet given bore no relation to the screen. We found a couple of things on there but it required extra payments. Could not find any "normal" channels.|On arrival we were told of marshmallow treats available to us to toast on the fire, however we could not find them. on leaving I think I may have seen them at a box outside reception.|The hotel is rather hidden from the road and we were told that the town was a 15 minute walk away, well it took 5 minutes in our coach so I think it is actually a bit more than that.|Breakfast was very disappointing. Continental but a poor selection, limited cereals and not even bread available to toast, only bagels. For gluten free, even worse. We had to sit in the reception area for this where there were nowhere near enough seats to accommodate our party, some of us sat in the reception lounge area instead.|The bar area is not at all welcoming, has very limited stock / choice and was expensive. A G+T was $15, a...

My wife and I rented a King bed on 2nd level for 1 evening. It was good size room, with 2 pillows each, good reading lamps, and towels, a coffee maker, & 2 poland spring 12 oz bottled. That is all I can say was positive ||Now the not so positive in no particular order:||1. Noisy neighbor||2. Musty smelling shower curtains ||3. No carpet or any floor covering.||4. found a women's sports bra and underwear left in top drawer of bedside vanity.||5. I had plans with my wife for her birthday dinner in the area and needed to iron my pants. Tried using the iron filled partially with water on top of Mini ironing board teached only about mid groin high. Placed Iron atop the board to allow it to heat up & it leaked all over the board, the floor, and my pants.||6. floor was not really clean (discovered this after iron mishap)||7. Towel holder next to vanity sink fell off the wall when my wife attempted to hang up her hand towel. (All it needed an allen wrench to tighten set screw but I wasn't packing one). ||8. Could not close bathroom door due to misaligned jamb plate.||9. My wife tried gently tried drawing the above-the-door-and -window covering (not a curtain) and the entire bar came down.||Not so bad right ? ....not the worst? but not for 3 stars .... 1 star for room amenities, cleanliness, maintenance AND value, all for $549 including fees and taxes! YES.||Could have had a better quality, cleaner room a pretty much at any highway motel in the area...
