A very enjoyable walk on the paved path. I did explore a few of the paths through the woods. You can find places to sit and relax, even in front of the bee 🐝 colony. The paved path is half a loop and takes you past statues that I found interesting to look at. After reading the book 📖, "Monuments Men", I have become more interested in sculptures and statues. The points of the cross monument were fascinating to view and study. There is an outdoor area for conducting mass. There is so much to see 🙈. They even have a gift shop. There is a short dirt path that leads to the marina. The place felt peaceful. The area where they conduct indoor mass is interesting. The area in front of the doors has a place where you can light 🕯️ a candle for a dollar. Public restrooms are available. I will recommend a visit even if you are...

You Catholics call yourself Christian’s? You worship Mary more than Jesus himself, what mockery. God told us to only give Him all the worship. Mary was just a vessel. Wake up people and smell the coffee. Also praying to saints? These saints were not immortal beings, the dead in Christ will raise first and then those who are living will rise second. And the only mediator between man and God is Christ Jesus. So no the saints are not making intercession for you, that’s blasphemy. You only pray to the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit living inside you, which since you aren’t real followers of Christ, you don’t have the Holy Ghost, repent of your sins, be washed clean by the blood of Jesus! All you have to do is recognize the sin and go to the only true living God Jesus Christ our messiah, our...

Absolutely beautiful experience stoping by the monastery. This was our last stop in kennebunkport and also didn’t stop by. Honestly the most memorable part of the town for us. The walk around was beautiful, peaceful, and adventurous every turn you’d find amazing views or beautiful gardens. The gift shop was also FANTASTIC if you send postcards (these are literally the cheapest post cards in Maine, 4/$1 beautiful vintage prints) and the shop keeper was a genuine kind man. We got a few gifts for my brother who recently converted and the prices for the religious pieces can not be beat. 1000% recommend stoping here if you can. You will...

We’re not Catholic, but were in the area and decided to stop and check it out. It once used to be a private estate and has been an active fanciscan monastery since 1947. It’s free to wander around the walking paths throughout the grounds with different shrines. Inside the chapel area, there are safe electric candles to light. They humbly ask for a $1 donation to push a button to light one up. The gift shop was closed when we got there, so didn’t get to see what was offered there. The restrooms are off the the right when facing the front of the building. They humbly ask for a donation for the upkeep of the facilities. It was interesting.
