USPS Distribution Center — Local services in Kent

The Kent USPS facility, where packages go to die apparently. Ordered item on Sep 6 through major website that a vendor operates under in WA state. It arrived at the Kent facility 5 days later and hasn’t moved since.

To reiterate, that is Bellevue WA Seattle WA Kent WA in 5 days. Why wouldn’t it leave a major city like Seattle to cross major distance?

The vendor was nice enough to send a replacement free of charge with no return/replacement nonsense on Sep 11…where it has once again arrived at Kent WA distribution center and has sat for an entire day with no movement.

There is something unusual going on at this facility or at the very least inefficient/incompetent. The other reviews have similar complaints. I will be forwarding this information to the postal inspector for follow up.

Worst usps center in the country hands down. My package has been overdue for more than a week and every day I just wait for nothing. When I check on the website, I am completely left in the dark about its status with zero updates zilch. Did some digging and turns out hundreds of people have been in the exact same boat I am. This is just notoriously an awful facility with snoozing employees sitting around with little interest in their jobs. I mean good god, I refuse to believe a couple years pass and they still can’t hire a single soul in all of Kent who actually knows how to ship mail. Do not waste your time with this facility for everyone’s sake. Waste of taxpayer...

My international package (outbound from the US) which I ordered from an online merchant has been stuck here a long time and this place is not even the last point before departure from the US. On the contrary, it was supposed to be the first stop on the shipment's journey. Something is very likely not right with the way things are going on in here. I have not had any such problems with other USPS sorting centres.
