Days Inn by Wyndham King/Winston Salem Area — Hotel in King

Awful most of the staff were nice and accommodating. The TV signal flickered the entire time. When I went to speak with the lady in the front she informed me it had been like that over the whole building and that they were having issues with the water as well. When I checked out after 4 nights in the same room I was charged an additional $25 cleaning fee they didn't even give me a call to try to correct it in an acceptable manner even though I was parked right outside the room when it happened. I didn't realize there was a cap on how much trash is too much for a 4day stay when we didn't ask housekeeping to do anything during our stay and simply exchanged bath towels 1time. I have been using this hotel for years but will not be returning because of the drama created by the extra charge by the young woman at the front desk and will now know that holding higher standards consistently and complaining about anything that goes wrong and taking pictures are a must. I explained to the lady that we had been there 4days and what trouble we did have and she said she couldn't verify that I had complained or reported anything to the lady and gentleman the days before because they were not there at that time. She insisted there had not been any complaints about anything from me or the other guests and that I should have had my room changed if I had issues. This stay was to relax with my husband and children for an extended period of time, so if it was a problem the whole building was having I didn't see any point in changing rooms. I checked in Thursday and already had reservations for Friday and Saturday. I was checked in by a very nice gentleman and he told me just to speak with the lady the next morning about keeping checked in and staying in the room. When I checked in w her she told me about the blinking TV signal and water issues over the whole building. I extended my stay when the weather came in Sunday and spoke with the nice gentleman and he switched my towels out then. My room number was 126. I was very dissatisfied by the things that happened with the lady Monday morning and the TV issues. Also the gentleman cleaning rooms looked non professional with pants lower than his hips and a multicolored tobogin. He also seen I was still sitting in front of the room when the extra charge was made to my card and didn't offer to tell me that if I didn't clean it there would be a charge. Also the vents in the bathroom looked Like they hadn't been cleaned in months and at least 2 of the outlets were missing the face plates and the floor was peeled up in front of the TV and bathtub did not look very clean. And you could tell it had been painted to hide some of the dirtiness and the toliet seat was loose. I just would like to know if this is common practice on how loyal members...

Days inn King Review I would give this hotel 10 stars if i could. My stay here is awesome. I love my room ! Me and my husband travel for work so, we have stayed at alot of places. The front desk staff is nice, polite and very accommodating. I Love the new beds. No bed bugs and no cockroaches !!! My husband and I are able to get a great night's sleep. Very comfy. Plenty of hot water in shower. Never runs out even if I take a long shower. Internet is awesome. The rooms look newly painted and nice and very spacious. It's also so peaceful and quiet. The heat and a/c works very well. Tv is great. I love that it has a office desk and chair. Very close to Walmart and gas station and restaurants and shopping centers. Right off of the highway so it's extremely easy to get to. The staff here has won me over the most they are so Awesome ! They work hard to keep the place up and you can tell it ! I am a Christian and they confess Jesus on a crosstitch picture on the wall in the office when you come in and im old school took me back to the 80's . I love that. Most places I have stayed I can't wait to leave. This one I don't want to leave. Clean towels anytime you need them. They have security too which makes me feel safer. There's not alot of drugs and partying here which makes me feel safe and comfortable. I haven't wrote very many reviews at all in my life probably not even 10 but when someone is working this hard and taking care of a hotel is hard work they deserve credit for it. The staff is awesome they brighten my day when I see them. I know why they are so Blessed JESUS. JESUS worked and Loved people they follow His example. They have breakfast in the morning it's great. Hot coffee ☕️. Every time I work in this area this is definitely where I will stay !!! Although they allow pets this place smells nice they have hardwood floors. The last place I stayed at had carpet in the hall and it smelled like a dog peed in the hall for 6 months all the way down the hall. It was terrible I couldn't wait to leave. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked through the doors, I could tell that cleanliness was a top priority. The lobby was immaculate and the staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were one of the highlights of my stay. The housekeeping staff did an amazing job in keeping the rooms spotless. The bedsheets were crisp and white, giving off a feeling of freshness. The new furniture in the room added a modern touch and made the room feel cozy and comfortable. And the fresh smell of the room was just the cherry on top, making me feel like I was the first person to ever stay in that room. The exterior of the hotel was also very inviting. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The rooms were even better than I expected. What truly surprised me was the price we paid for the room. It was well within our budget and we got so much more than we expected. The value for money at this hotel is unparalleled. But what really makes this hotel stand out is the excellent service provided by the front desk staff. They were always available and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. They were friendly, attentive and truly made us feel like valued guests. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, inviting and comfortable place to stay.
