Had to find a place last minute to stay. I was very pleased. Reserved the room not even two days ahead and asked if we could check in a little earlier than normal. They said that would be fine. When we walked in you could smell how clean the place was. We weren't able to get a room on the lower floor because it would have taken 20 extra minutes that we didn't have but they assured us to her room right away. The rooms were comfortable including the beds. Very clean. The decor was a little bit outdated. They had the old style bubble TVs,(what my daughter calls them...haha) carpet, fixtures, & wall art. The shower didn't have as much pressure as it could have because it had a small leak where it connected the head. Breakfast was good. Everyone was very polite and quick to help with anything that we needed. We even ran a little bit over check out time as we were getting ready for a competition. We asked if they would be okay with that and they were. The only thing I really wish would have been a little bit better was the connection to the Wi-Fi and to have had a tub in our bathroom instead of just a shower. The area was convenient to everything that you could ask for including a Walmart but was back a little bit off the road so it did not feel so busy. Overall, it was a nice little place to stay without blowing my bank. I would definitely stay there again if we were ever...
Read moreI paid $90something for one night and that was with a government rate adjustment. My sister lives 10mins away and we had a family gathering at her house so I wanted to be no further than 10miles to ensure I'm there early for our fam breakfast. When I pulled up @130a it looked decent like a country inn and suites but once I got to the door I thought otherwise. The breakfast area is in the lobby, there was an AC unit on the floor, I could see AC units on the ground outside as I parked. Once inside I noticed s sign that said "please excuse our mess...." Due to renovations. I immediately excused the random AC units about and assume they're renovating the breakfast area. What I won't excuse is a lack of an elevator for a 2story hotel, old scraped paint toilet seats, rust stains on shower floor, peeling wood furniture and dirty walls that a simple lysol wipe could make a world of difference for cleaner appearances. They can renovate the building but while you ask folks yo excuse the mess, you could at least ensure your walls are clean, and old old furniture is updated, and toilets swapped out which takes a plumber all of 1hrs to do. This place shouldn't cost more than $70 after taxes! The beds/sheets were neat and clean so they get 1 star credit for the bed, having a microwave and fridge. I haven't had breakfast yet but if I did it'll likely make the...
Read moreI reserved this hotel based on the high reviews from google reviews but I was really disappointed with the quality of this hotel. After arriving at our room the door was broken. So I had them switch us to another room the following day. The next room had the drawers broken, I talked to the front desk and all they say is that they are going to look into it, which they never did. I noticed that the front desk does not want to talk to you since every time I showed up some of the front desk employees were listening to music during the day and I couldn't get their attention. We decided to do an early leave to which the front desk woman fought me tough and nail stating that this was not their job to change reservations. After the manager was involved, they were able to give me the early leave. The breakfast was not up to health standards, they put out jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches in the bread box and leave them out like this instead of refrigerating them. I actually got sick for 2 days until I figured out it was those. The best thing that I noticed about this hotel is that they keep the room clean, and...
