Read moreRun!! Do not walk but RUN from this tailor/seamstress!! Bridal salon over sold this lady as a “sleeve expert” to gain a sale and then our worst nightmare began. I purchased very expensive organza fabric for them to make sleeves to add to my daughters wedding dress and they were so ugly and botched it looked like somebody’s 90 yr old great aunt Bertha tried to make them. They were so bad we had to ask them to just remove altogether. The dress was also taken in on the sides and the seams didn’t even match up, making the dress look lopsided on. Fabric wasn’t removed after alterations which bunched up in places that were very visible. In addition to uneven alterations of the front of dress, boning down the front of breasts was manipulated during alterations so that the breasts now looked pointy and two greatly different sizes! It looks like one side of the dress is a DD and the other is a B cup. There are also quite a few dark stains on the dress as if people were eating while altering and/or work conditions were filthy. Multiple times during fittings WE had to point out gapping, pulling or issues that a professional should have caught. It was like if we didn’t point it out they didn’t correct, like “shhhh don’t say anything if they don’t. “ In the end, totally different sleeves were made in an hour and thrown on with RAW EDGES hanging out and half attached with ONE tiny plastic snap that kept popping undone. Not to mention the reception dress they altered but then conveniently forgot to put back in the bridal bag, and we live an hour and a half from Perfect Fit. It’s 10 days before my daughter’s wedding and we are frantically searching for a wedding dress we can purchase off the rack at this point. Every mother’s and every brides worst nightmare. They also altered my dress and her version of an internal bra was to sew a piece of elastic inside the dress so that I now have to step inside the elastic in addition to stepping inside my dress....
Read moreThe bridal shop my sister got her wedding dress from recommend she come to this location to get my sisters dress altered. When speaking to an employee she told my mother and I we could also bring our dresses here to be altered for my sisters wedding. She told us we didn’t need an appointment and to come in when my sister went in for her dress alterations. My sisters first appointment was in may, I dropped the dress off that I was wearing in my sisters wedding at this same appointment. I had to go back 4 different times and each appointment I went to my dress wasn’t correct. The employee we spoke to blamed it on the “dress being cheap” but the dress was fine before bringing it in. They removed the pockets out of my dress and I was not informed until I tried it on for the 3rd time, which made my dress look bumpy and the seams on both sides were overlapped and nowhere near straight. They then told us we could pick my dress and my mother’s dress up on Wednesday the 25th. Mind you they had my dress from May until September. My mother and I went in on Thursday the 26th at roughly 1pm, and my dress nor my mothers was done. The wedding was on September 29th and they had been aware of the dates since May. They made us leave and come back at 3pm, so we left and went back at 3. My dress was not altered correctly and my moms was not hemmed at all. They made us take them off and sit and wait another 30 mins. My dress was still horribly finished but we didn’t have time to wait anymore. My experience was absolutely horrible, especially for the cost of the alterations of my dress. Would...
