Friday night June 8 5:30 Waitress must have been brand new . We were the only customers... other than the friend of the guy playing host. Ordered 1 All Star breakfast, a patty melt and waffles for 3 people . Cook didn’t come out for 5-7 minutes after we ordered to start. Waitress was too worried about the other employees and his friend than completing our order. First the counter was wiped down with a sour towel and one person had to go wash their hands ... it smelled sour! We got our hash browns first .... then bacon ... those were eaten before the eggs came. The sunny side up eggs were hard on the bottom. When my husband explained to the waitress the eggs were not sunny side up and showed her... the cook asked what was wrong . Explained again the eggs yolks were hard ... blew my husband off... and then finally said... ‘ what do you want them redone ! DUH . Then when we kept asking about waffles we were told only one waffle maker could be used . First waffle was tissue paper think and raw ... we ask for a do over ( we were polite ) then my hubbys waffle came . thicker but raw. I think with the banter going back and forth between the waitress and the host sitting with his friend ..... she gave us the finger. At this point , where is the manager ??? Was the cook in charge??? Is this what our WH. Has Come to. No apology for really bad food and taking 30 minutes from the first item to the last ....sad . I hope the manager reads this . Read moreI would rather give a 0. We're visiting from out of town and looking forward to a great breakfast at waffle house. Always enjoyed other waffle house we've eaten at, but this was a nightmare! My husband and I walk in, no one responds, no welcome. All employees seemed to be gathered in the cooking area. Stood for a few seconds, because all tables available were filled with dirty dishes and still no one greeted us or attempted to clean the tables. The floors were filthy, looked dirty everywhere! I see why the sanitation grade is a 90. We sat down at the bar, where the only place without dirty dishes, to give them a second chance and still no good morning, no welcome and there was a waitress in arms length. So with that, we got up and walked out and will not return and advise anyone not to go there! The only way to return there is whomever owns this, get a new manager and new employees or better train them on customer service. I work with the public every day and they have become as family and have so many referrals. Make all feel welcomed and that they are valuable! Please owner, clean house or retrain. Read moreUpdate: I don't know who they had back there cooking this evening but it was terrible! The bread was barely toasted but most of all there were egg shells all throughout my scrambled eggs! Not just a small shell but medium pieces as well. If I ever see that lady cooking again, I'm not gonna eat there. She already looked sketchy and for my food to turn out the way it did, I'm disappointed.
It's Waffle House. Nothing much to say. Ok, I will say this... One thing I like about Waffle House in general is that their food is consistent. It tastes the same at all locations and they typically seem to hire hard working people. I think it's interesting that every Waffle House I've ever been too looks like something from the 70's yet in all the years I've been going to Waffle House I've rarely come across any bad customer service from them. Yet there are so many other franchises with these fancy remodles but they hire some of the most hateful people they can find. Hats off to Waffle House for knowing how to pick quality employees.
