It was our first time going there & we were so excited because it’s new & gosh, we were so disappointed because it’s so beautiful on the outside but as soon as we got through the doors, the girls were telling us that we had a half an hour to order food & eat because they were gonna be closing so we should’ve just probably left but we didn’t. We decided to go inside & eat & the food & service were horrible & as far as the guacamole it’s guacamole it’s not rocket science so it shouldn’t be that hard to make but she failed miserably! I don’t think she even knew what guacamole was or the basic ingredients to it were because another girl decided to take over mixing up the avocado with the forks and the other girl was just staring at her watching her, make it & it was kind of sad & embarrassing I think for her & everybody around… she took forever to bring out the drinks & anything else that we ordered & it was just bad & the food just was awful so unfortunately we won’t be back, but hopefully you guys can work on getting your people properly trained & when I say that I mean all the people that work there from the kitchen all the way to the servers and hostesses. And AC wasn’t working, which is pretty embarrassing for a newly opened restaurant especially with it being so hot out, so they had a big loud fan & water was dripping & just not good for a new restaurant. And it was expensive just for mediocre food, well not even...

Arriving just before the Mother's Day rush, we were promptly greeted and seated by a friendly server who efficiently took our drink orders, returning with a warm smile. Although there's no separate lunch menu on weekends, the extensive offerings cater to diverse tastes, promising something for everyone.
As we perused the menu, we indulged in crispy chips and salsa, supplemented by a delectable Queso dip. Our entrees, spanning a variety of flavors, were uniformly impressive. Despite the lively ambiance and slightly elevated volume of the music, our dining experience remained largely unaffected, testament to the quality of the cuisine.
Service remained attentive throughout, with drinks promptly refilled without request. Even as a line formed, patrons awaiting tables seemed content, enjoying the pleasant outdoor atmosphere. Portions were generous, necessitating takeaway containers for the leftovers, but the value was undeniable, with an average spend of $22.50 per person, plus gratuity.
El Jimador promises consistency in both food and service, making it a reliable choice for future visits. For aficionados of Mexican cuisine, it's a must-try destination that...

Man, I was NOT prepared for good this place is....
First thing I noticed was that the salsa looked more appetizing than ANY I had seen in years. And it was.
I ordered the fajitas, as in steak (asada), chicken (pollo) & shrimp (camarones). Before I could even try those, the refried beans looked SO GOOD (and usually, frankly, they don't.....grey, dried out hockey pucks...you know what I mean) and man, they were just outstanding.
As were the fajitas. The shrimp were huge and perfectly cooked, in this incredible sauce that I'd never had before. The Pico De Gallo was perfect. As was the rice.
I ate 2 tortillas there, and have had 3 more at home and still have enough for about 2 more. The value is unreal.
J (as in "Y") eremy was an excellent, efficient and super friendly server and really made the meal that much better.
THIS PLACE ROCKS. The food is OFF THE CHARTS, as is the service. I feel so very lucky that El Jimador is about 5 miles from my house.
This is a great time for food in this area. So many great places are popping up everywhere, sometimes almost next door. KUDOS to places like EL JIMADOR for...
