This is a hidden secret in La Mirada, California. The hotel staffs are amazing. Truly kind and accommodating. My wife and I have stayed at Holiday Inn La Mirada CA 15 times (cumulative, 60 nights or more) over 3 years and found it very clean- friendly and a fantastic location.

The hotel manager Victor Caceres is extremely professional, accessible, friendly, approachable, and willing to provide excellent customer service (Victor reaches out to make sure your stay is pleasant).

No request is beyond his scope of services from over-the-counter shaving cream- great room service, extra pillows, to making sure all your needs are met. He’s an amazing hotel manager. He is very diligent in his work ethic. Very clean hotel. Great housekeeping - always quick to bring up a microwave, great room location or extra blankets, closet hangers, pillows when needed. Approachable and assessable. Excellent follow-through. Hard-working staff. Always cleaning the facility, i.e., bathrooms, hotel lobby - corridors and rooms.

The housekeeping staffs are dependable, efficient, and very accommodating - friendly & hardworking. Always willing to provide room assistance - very caring positive attitude. Ms. Maia Rivas, Ms. Sara, Ms. Candelario and Ms. Elsa are fantastic- attentive and accessible. Very kind people and professional- take pride in their work. Dependable and reliable. Also, Ms. Silvia Ortiz has worked at the hotel for many years, and you can't meet a more kind, friendly hotel staff anywhere. She is always smiling, welcoming, and saying kind words. Extremely hard worker.

The restaurant 12Sixty Modern Pub & Kitchen has a great breakfast buffet and plenty of choices from the breakfast menu. You can’t find more friendly, attentive, and professional hotel - restaurant staffs. I found them to be helpful and always making sure your menu - food order is correct and served timely. They are so efficient and attentive- great customer - hotel restaurant guest services. Tomas handles the daily restaurant operations - he is by far the hardest working person - that I’ve ever met (he must have multiple clones, because I see him everywhere daily - all hours at the hotel) - he makes sure customer needs are met in the restaurant - is efficient and runs smoothly- plus great nostalgic music. The breakfast server Cynthia (Elvis) is amazing - efficient – friendly and accommodating. She makes us feel welcomed. Always making sure our breakfast is served quickly - hot coffee- ice water and approachable - smiling - friendly- positive attitude. Going the extra mile - going beyond the call of duty. Very attentive and professional. A truly kind - caring person. Mario is always available - checking, making sure our breakfast needs are met and friendly - professional and willing to accommodate our special orders. Hard worker. Both make sure our family members (when visiting us) are treated extra special, attentive to their needs and very accommodating. They're amazing with a positive attitude.

The evening restaurant staff are so helpful and attentive - professional and friendly. Always willing to help with special requests. You might find it interesting that the hotel and restaurant staffs have been in their positions / assignments - jobs over 12 years or more on the average. Honestly, that says something about their pride and loyalty and commitment to the hotel - facility. Great focus to excellent hotel guest services. They freely returned to their hotel assignments after Covid-19 closer- reopened. You won’t find a more committed- attentive hotel group anywhere in Southern California.

Although I no longer live in Southern California - I’m happy to say this is our home away from home when visiting friends & family. An additional plus is Chick-fil-A, Clearmans North Woods Inn Restaurant and In-N-Out Burger are walking distance. Easy access to interstate - freeway 5. Or interstate 91 and 605.
