Mattress Firm Forked River — Hotel in Lacey Township

Mattress Firm March 3, 2022 I purchased an adjustable bed frame from Mattress Firm, Lanoka Harbor, NJ for $799. The frame was delivered and set up March 6, 2022. Mid November, 2022, the remote for the adjustable bed frame started having issues by not syncing with the frame. The only way to make it work is to disconnect the plug and plug it back in to sync the remote. This was purchased for a disabled person with major back issues - this is not something that is easily done, nor should it have to be. I called Mattress Firm to let them know of the issue and they directed me to Leggit and Platt, the frame manufacturer. I called Leggit, they asked me about the remote, which had “Ensco” written on it with a phone number - I was instructed to call them. I called and placed 4 separate customer service requests, each time giving full information, and being told I would receive a call back with 24 hours, excluding weekends. Continued calls were met with “mailbox full” - so I could not leave messages nor were any left for me. I’ve made 3 return visits to Mattress Firm: Deedra kindly printed the full manual for me, along with the warranty showing 2-3 more years on it. Deedra also personally called Ensco on my behalf from the store asking them to call me; Jake said his manager, who was aware of the issue, would be in that afternoon and he would ask him to call me - - no call. I’m being told it’s Ensco’ responsibility, but it was Mattress Firm who made the sale and took my money. This $799 defective bed frame, purchased for a disabled person needs to be resolved. Obnoxious but polite person who appeared to be a store manager came out tooking pictures of everyone who left a shopping cart when getting on a bus in front of the store, we do it every week as it is a weekly bus and the bus company services all the developments in the area so there is many buses go there weekly at least 7 as there are at least seven developments that contract the bus operator and normally a cart boy is waiting by the bus when the bus is there. You are two stores down from the biggest supermarket chain in the state owned by the biggest share holder of the brand and was there way before mattress firm moved in. Being that close to a supermarket what do you expect. We are the second or third bus to go on weds afternoon. Our bus drops off twice at 2 and 3 because some of us go to Walmart and Lidl first then get picked up to go to ShopRite and some straight to ShopRite and picks everyone up at 4. Because of the layout of the shopping plaza, the buses line up right in front of the store when picking up naturally people will leave the carts in front of the store, I have been riding the bus now for two years this is the first time some one came out being obnoxious about the shopping carts. I purchased my Purple mattress at Lacey Mattress Firm; Sarah was my sales rep. Personable is an understatement. Not only was she upbeat, greeting me upon entry, but she was very knowledgeable about all of the models available in the store. Though, I went in desiring to purchase a Purple mattress, she was honest and presented others she thought may be of interest once she peeled back the layers of what I was looking for. Which leads me to my next point...honesty. Sarah was genuine and honest, through and through. I’m a good judge of character and she is definitely sincere in her efforts to help her guests find exactly what they’re looking for. She further assisted with pricing to help me stay within my budget. She was patient with every question; she never gave off the energy that she’d rather be doing anything else. Quite the opposite. She showed me various options until we put together a package that was Perfect for me. No cookie cutter, product pushing of the most expensive buys here. If you’re in the market for a mattress, Mattress Firm at Lacey should be your first stop. It will be your last. Talk to Sarah, if you can.
