First impressions- This was my first time here so this will be first impressions on the establishment and food. Entering the restaurant- the vibe you get is not that of a "Mexican Restaurant" as listed. The music was that of someone's playlist rather the what you would expect. From the front counter you can't see the kitchen. There is a wall and door but you can't see any of the staff preparing the food, it just shows up. There was no visual aesthetics to indicate "Mexican Restaurant". there is however a painted picture of a fisherman in a boat trying to catch an octopus. Where that was going I have no idea. Menu- Ordering the food was very simple with using the touch screen. the menu was simple and easy to read and understand. Having the credit card machine to use made the whole process very efficient. Thumbs up on this! Packaging/Prep- Food was hot and packaged in a nice container. Person that brought the food out did not greet me they just sat the food down and said my name to pick it up. I found this to be a very cold interaction. beside me the person taking the order of a patron (yes you can have someone take your order) had a great disposition and was pleasant to the patron. The Food- once home the food was taken out of the bag and it was still warm. the food I ordered was correct but the portion to container size was off as there wasn't much in the serving . There was to much cream on top of the food and there was very little lettuce. The food had good taste however (maybe because of the seasoning) it was VERY salty. there was about 6 bites worth of food in this oversized container. The guacamole dip was definitely not fresh. The brown coloring gave it away that it was in the fridge to long and not pleasing to the eye. Assuming they made it ahead of time well in advance of me ordering it. The taste also represented its longevity in the refrigerator. I took 2 bites then it was disposed of. Overall from my first impressions I would not go back to this restaurant. however, I believe in second chances and will try something different next time. Maybe they were having a bad day in the back. I want to believe they want to make everyone happy and keep them coming back. Will see how the next...
Read moreOk let’s break it down 1st Impression is they spent a good amount of money on appearance because it is a cool vibe when you come in. The floors are epoxy and have a cool orange swirl which is hot. It is super clean but after that you are on your own to figure out how to order. They have tablets to place your order but it just doesn’t feel right. They have a counter but there is absolutely NO ONE in this place to greet you, help you or just reassure you that your order will be completed after you pay. Once I paid and walked around to see if there was anyone in the place a young man came out and I asked him if I could confirm that my order was going to be as the menu stated as it wasn’t really clear when I ordered on the tablet. He confirmed my order and then went behind a wall and said he would be back. As I waited…. Alone….. I snapped a few pics of the place. My order came out fairly quickly and I took the food to go. I got the fish tacos which were good. They are definitely not your typical street taco or Mexican taco but they are ok. The burrito was good…. It’s kind of hard to mess up a burrito! Overall it was an average taco. I would try it again but it’s not one of my favorites in terms of all around experience. This place needs some customer interaction and maybe a TV or something to make it less cold and robotic. Best part to be honest was the cosmetic look of the place…....
Read moreWhat is this place? A club vibe where you are confused as to what your eating as it’s not fresh but rather bagged slip in a definitely not cooked on premise taco shell. The guacamole has tomatoes in it and tastes like someone mixed it in their mouth. Walk in, no greeting, and confusion with no signs to “order here” so you have to guess and order on weird confusing tablets. No personal touch. I ordered two meals, chips and fountain drinks to stay. A receipt prints out and then more confusion. Do I go stand and wait, do I sit. How do I know when it’s my order ready. I sit in a cold dark ambiance metal chaired area and an order number is called. Since I was the only customer in the place the man had little to guess. Only one meal was made, and no cups for drinks. Not a “here you go, oh looks like you ordered fountain drinks, cups are over there” let me grab you napkins (which once I found them, was empty) At first glance of the food, i did not want to complain and get my meal that was missed. I stayed quiet and picked at the gross food. No one came to check if all was good. No one made eye contact. They must know. Overall. Worst taco place I have ever been. After 20 years in the food business I’m appalled as to what a quick service experience has dwindled down to. Do not recommend this place. It will be something...
