SCP Seven4One — Hotel in Laguna Beach

We stayed at 741 for my husband's birthday, and it was just a treat from the beginning till the end :) We were greeted by Kyle, who is a knowledgeable and courteous host and was available throughout the whole stay for assistance, and Gabe, I believe, who gently guided my husband's oversized truck through the back alley and took over to have it stored for the night. The moment you walk in the main common area, you get a very peaceful, almost tranquil feeling. They manage to address all five feelings: light music, pleasant and comfortable seating and a live green wall, really nice spa-like smell, even children didn't feel like making too much noise :) Other two common areas are a crime to miss as well, well furnished, with fresh coffee and tea, and a variety of books. Rooms are comfy, bedding impeccable, good mattresses and pillows, bathrooms clean, fans, ac, ionizers, humidifiers, and even sound machines in every room. But the best part - NO TVs IN THE ROOM!!!!! 2 minute walk to the beach, 1 minute walk to the nearest cafes, grocery stores and numerous art galleries. You also can use the amenities of the sister hotel with beach chaise longs, umbrellas, showers and fire pits. An absolutely perfect stay! We hosted our entire family at this hotel over the weekend and celebrated a special event here, and we could not be more grateful for the experience. From the moment we arrived, the entire team welcomed us with such warmth and incredible hospitality—it truly felt like a home away from home.

Each room was beautifully designed and featured essential oils that created the most peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We were able to rest both our souls and bodies in total comfort. The hotel itself boasts stunning views, and every detail is carefully curated to make guests feel relaxed and pampered.

We are so upset. My mom and I drove 6 hours with our special needs dog from AZ because this property boasted on its website that it had the accommodations we needed for our pet. We arrive after a long car ride, and the room has no working air conditioning! The property was well aware our room's air conditioning was not working. They tried to hide the fact the air was not working with a make shift loud portable unit. They should have informed us that the air was not working prior to arriving. Rhen, an employee said there was nothing she could do for us but offer a refund. She did not offer to try to get maintenance to the room to fix the air. She thought that the fans also were acceptable instead of air conditioning and tried to make excuses. Awful hospitality. If you decide to book here, be aware the suite room 205 with ocean view has no working air conditioning and the room is very uncomfortable (this just happened Aug 20 2024).
