Faux Paw Artique Gallery — Attraction in Laguna Beach

Debby is an angel on earth. Two of six our furkids crossed the rainbow bridge (six months apart) in 2021. Our first loss, Miss Cody, was sudden; our second loss, Mister Shaggy, was prolonged (no suffering, simply very old). I contacted Debby the same day that we lost Miss Cody (I was wracked with grief), as I found her BEAUTIFUL custom urns online, and I knew I wanted her artwork as a happy tribute to Miss Cody, to bring smiles to our faces as Miss Cody did for us each day. Debby one of the most empathetic and patient people I have ever met. She was so thorough, allowing me to tell her all about Miss Cody’s sweet “motherly” personality, and requesting many photos so that she could capture Miss Cody’s spirit and beauty. This first urn truly helped us heal. I smile when I see her painting of Miss Cody, with the lovely rainbow and lush grass. When Mister Shaggy crossed the rainbow bridge six months later, I contacted Debby the same day, and she was ready to pay him the most beautiful tribute as well: more stories and photos shared, and she captured his confident “boyfriend” personality. His gorgeous urn—with trees and our creek—has joined Miss Cody’s to bring us joy, rather than tears, on a desk in our living area. I cannot recommend anyone more highly, as I knew from her attention to me, and attention to details of our dogs, that she TRUELY cares and works so very hard to honor our furry companions. Absolute best “custom order” experience of my lifetime. I feel like Debby is family. I love Debby Carman’s Art! I have been purchasing things from her since 2006 and her pieces always make me smile. Recently I made two purchases. The first was for a small bowl. It is so cute and so Abby! The second was for a large painting on canvas. For the painting, Debby recreated a scene from a ceramic plate she had made for me years ago. The scene captures memories of special moments with some of my two and four legged friends. The painting is fabulous! It makes me smile every time I walk by it. Employee misrepresented origin of item

Went in and saw a small sculpture of a dog, same breed as my old dog. I liked this one and didn’t like the cartoony custom pieces. It’s just my personal taste.

The employee (maybe the owner?) said she had an artist design them for her and then a factory make them.

I went online later that day and saw these are mass produced and available on tons of retail sites, even Home Depot, some priced as low as 1/3rd of what I paid.

I just wanted something that reminded me of my old dog. Do not trust this store or the people...
