A local gem I’ve been coming to for years that I’m glad I stopped into because I’ve been hooked since the first time! The service is always friendly and quick, the ham and cheese croissants are great and the coffee tastes delicious hot, iced, straight or mixed with your favorite flavors. I’m particular about my coffee and I’ve never had a bad cup from here. Their coffee is bold but not bitter and doesn’t taste at all like a blend of randomness that has to be masked with flavored syrups. I definitely recommend the iced Ortega Perk Up if you need a little help waking up in the morning. It’s crisp and smooth all on its own without any sweeteners and gives you a nice little boost when you need it. There’s also a nice selection of blended drinks without coffee, which is great for those wanting a rich drink that may not like or want the added coffee. The boba drinks are delicious with the pearls being just right, never too hard or too mushy. The teas are refreshing and there’s plenty of flavor options to choose from to make the perfect drink. One of my favorite things about this place is the variety of drinks on the menu, so if I decide to stop later in the day I can get something other than coffee. Okay so, I've been in lake for 6 years now, and Everytime I've been to java it's been a great experience, not until today. I went to java hut with a friend of mine and I was ordering, and my friend wanted me to order for her. So I did and she asked for a matcha blended drink, and I completely forgot to tell her to add boba, and usually they always ask if we want boba. And I went back to ask if they can add the boba nicely, and this time it was another girl and she was like "next time let me know before hand that you wanted boba" and I was like "oh sorry 🥲" and then she took the drink and slammed the window on me.... LIKE WHAT!!! LMAO I get that I made an honest mistake, I totally get that, but responding that way and giving me that sort of attitude was just so unnecessary!
