The main thing I liked at this hotel was the breakfast from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., it was excellent. A variety to choose from cooked food, fruits, Bagels, coffee, Dairy and even making your own waffle. The bed was very comfortable, but the room was very small and not impressive because the decor was very outdated. The exception was that it had a fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker. A large TV screen. I was on the first floor and near two-door exits and very close to the front office, but even with that being said, it was pretty quiet for the majority of the time I was here, but I did stay from Tuesday night and check out was Friday at noon. September 30th through October 3rd, 2025. It's about an hour and 30 minutes from the Sacramento Airport. There isn't anything nearby within walking distance but a shopping plaza is very close that has a Target with a Starbucks inside and nearby in the opposite direction is very nice restaurant called The Boathouse, which had amazing food and a huge outdoor patio and a beautiful Lake right there. Almost forgot to mention they have a heated pool and jacuzzi outside with a nice seating area as well as an exercise room with fitness equipment and weights. Oh and I signed up for their Rewards Club and they gave me a goodie bag with very nice healthy choices inside except for the...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews, only when something is really good or something isn’t up to par. This Fairfield Inn hotel is a new hotel which is a plus for me. However there are several issues that aren’t really a staff related issues. I believe that the builder that build this hotel wasn’t the best or wasn’t up to par and it reflects on the hotel. When I arrived at this hotel I heard the A/C unit too loud and additionally it had a rattling noise which I thought I could deal with but when it gets quiet late at night the noise the A/C made was very annoying (I did not sleep that night). I asked to get moved and the staff was very kind to move me to another room. The second issue I had was the water pressure in the shower, I really had to be very very patient to take a shower (the worst shower I’ve had in a long long time, very disappointing. The third issue I had, the power went out every day of the week, one day it went out for a long time, which the staff was very kind to switch me to another room. Not a good experience here. I don’t think this hotel should be priced as high as it is because of all the problems I encountered. I think they should fix all the issues and then price...
Read moreStayed here one night on our way to Southern California. It is a recently built hotel with several major design flaws.|The worst is the extremely loud a/c unit located as usual under the window. It roars away non stop and turning it “off” at the thermostat makes no difference. I texted the front desk to ask how to turn it off and they replied that you can’t. They said it is the only way to get air in the room and would I like earplugs. In my experience hotels that offer earplugs generally have a problem they can’t solve.|Also the rooms are built like long, narrow shoe boxes with thin walls. We had two tvs in our room, one on each room. I’m sure the neighbors did too and we could hear them well into the night. They were probably using them to drown out the a/c unit.|There were other issues like the unbelievably loud floor ice machine sitting in a nook in the wall and the noise from the adjacent highway.|There are other Marriotts in the area and we will never return...
