Wellgroomed — Local services in Lathrop

I chose Wellgroomed for my wedding outfit and they created my custom, dream lengha for my outdoor Sikh ceremony in July 2021 (anand karaj). I also got my custom set from Preet - The Lost Bangle to match my outfit.

Sarah and Preet are amazing people to work with. From the moment I had my first appointment in November 2020 to June when I got my outfit, they were always kind, professional, and positive. This is also one of the main reasons I chose Wellgroomed vs other stores.

With all the unknowns of covid during this time period, they always did their best to answer any questions or concerns I had and always squeezed me in for the appointments I requested. I'm so thankful for them and also the team in India for all their hard work on the beautiful outfits they hand-make. They even made a beautiful 2nd dupatta to complete my outfit when I changed my mind a few months before the wedding.

Sarah helped my vision come to life. I always wanted a peachy colored lengha, especially since my wedding was in the summer. Sarah ordered custom swatches for me and I was able to choose the perfect shade for my skin tone. I also wanted a train with scalloped edging around the border as well as on the dupatta. All of the little details were done perfectly and I appreciate all of her time spent making sure it came out how I wanted.

Once my outfit was complete, Preet put together the most beautiful and unique custom set of Choora and kaliyre that were hand-painted and gold-plated. I didn't want a traditional look for the choora/kaliyre. My jaw dropped when I saw how nicely it tied my whole look together. I love her eye for jewelry. She also helped me find jewelry on the DAY of my sangeet and seriously saved the day. It turned out amazing and was one of my favorite looks for the week.

Hi Sarah- Where do I begin?! This review is so long over due, but let me start off by saying- You are the BEST Sarah! Thank you so much for putting your 1000% (not 100, but 1000%) into my whole wedding outfits. Sarah— your eye to details is out of this world and you are so wonderful to work with. I’m the most pickiest person in this world and when I came to you with some of my visions— BOOM magic happened. Gurpreet— thank you for being on top of everything. You have such amazing ideas for outfits (what stones I should use, what style would look good and etc) and I’m so glad I took your advise on my outfits. You are amazing to work with and I love you for that.

My fiancé and I have never visited the store since we are located in the east coast. She contacted them through Whatsapp for an outfit for her bridal shower and they were responsive at first, but the completely stopped responding. Not, "Oh we have nothing in your budget" or "We are booked for the next few months" - Just nothing after multiple follow-ups and giving them days to respond.
