horrible place, they have no communication skills. I made an appointment 4 months in advance to get a health certificate for my dog because we are traveling to a country that requires a health certificate to enter. They said they could do it to the country I am traveling to. I call one week in advance to the confim the appointment and they said “yes we can do this health certificate”. The day before the appointment is scheduled they call and said “we can’t do health certificates for the country you are traveling to.” This was ONE DAY before the appointment when they had 4 whole 30 day months to say something and choose to say nothing. I am now running around like a crazy animal begging other veteranary places to help me get a last minute appointment when they are already fully booked. I would have scored zero if I could. Been going here for many years. Basic pet services. Needed them to kindly just authorize my 12 1/2 year old dog recurring pet meds prescription. They literally waited all day therefore i was unable to get her meds in a timely manner. I assumed they love pets but their lack of empathy shows different. I did put i complaint against them. I took my dog to new vet but still was going to get my guinea pig nails just clipped there. Office manager came on phone all upset I filled complaint. My dog ended up needing her spleen removed by another vet and LATHROP VETERINARY would have never diagnosed it. I always felt like they were used car salesman. Just in it for a few bucks…sad. Husband was to have an out patient surgery at SJCH and we took our dog with everywhere however they decided to have him stay the night which meant I needed boarding last minute for our dog. And that is not always easy because you have to Vaccination records in order to allow that to happen however they did accept our dog and kept him in isolation even though she does have all her shots. I appreciate their help so much! The manager was very accommodating and suggested to have her take a sedative to calm her down for her nights stay which I agreed because she had never been with out us. I know that I could have been easily stuck in this situation but thank GOD for this location. I think they are SUPER!...
