D-Lux Budget Inn — Hotel in Lemont Township

BELIEVE ALL THE CRAZY BAD REVIEWS! The owners have something wrong in the head! I called to inquire about pricing for a stay..you know just a simple normal question and the attitude I was met with from one older gentlemen there was horrendous!! I guess there's no such thing as customer service here since they act like customers are the most annoying thing in the world and can't be bothered . I guess he did not like it when I asked him to re state the answer ( I did not understand the rude mumbling) because he did so with a nasty sarcastic tone then just hung up on me. I called back to let them know how ridiculous that exchange was for no reason only to have another older gentlemen with the same attitude answer and even started cursing at me! I PROMISE YOU!! I totally believe all the bad reviews because I honestly with my experience over the phone would not put it past this place. There's no way I'd ever reccommend this place can not imagine how anyone stayed here with these type of rude people working here. This is the type of place you go to die at the hands of a crazy owner!! Good reviews must be from the WAY past or faked because I do not know what is going on now. I read the complaints and yes it’s all true. ||||The owner has no background in the hospitality business unless you consider ||renting rooms in the Soviet Union under communist rule a hospitable venture . ||||There is something wrong with the owner and there is a “chemical imbalance “ here . I never met a man so ignorant , so backwards and so hostile towards his guest . His hotel motto should read “ Its not like we don’t like our guest , we hate hate our guest “ .,lol ||||This is over a bag of chips that was knocked onto the floor and a few fries as well . I ask the idiot if I could use the vacuum so I could clean up the mess . He goes into a tirade calling me a slob , I live like a spic, I’m a bum . I fought with the guy . When I stay in hotels and make a mess, I usually do the cleaning or pay the cleaning person a good tip ..In my life , I never witnessed such insanity coming from an owner operator of an establishment like this . The room wasn't bad and the girl that was working at the desk during the day when I checked in was very nice but the "manager" was extremely rude and when he seen one more person come in our room he called and said he was going to charge us for three people but I told him only two were staying and that the 3 of us were eating and someone was going to be leaving. He then asks me for a credit card in case "something comes up missing" as he said. My gf and I decided to stay the one night instead of the week since he was so rude so I went back to the office and asked for the money back for the following night since we weren't staying and he said in the morning when you check out you get your money back for the other nights. Even though he already had a $100 dollar security deposit which is what the girl said it was so instead of giving us our money back he was holding $230 for a security deposit even though he already had one. I will never be returning here and I do not recommend this place at all I'd rather...
