Capri Xpress Lemont — Restaurant in Lemont Township

Our family just had the most wonderful dinner at Capri Express in Lemont, and we simply had to share our experience. Dining out can often be a source of stress for us because our daughter deals with food anxiety. Italian food is usually a safe bet, but even then, the menu can feel overwhelming for her.

From the moment we walked in, Andy and his incredible team were a breath of fresh air. Andy was incredibly patient, giving us ample time to decide (more than once!) and even offering to create dishes not on the menu to ensure our daughter found something she'd love. We never once felt rushed, which is so rare and truly a gift in today's fast-paced world.

And the food? Absolutely outstanding! Every dish was excellent, but those meatballs… coming from someone who only eats her mom's meatballs, I can tell you they were amazing!

The service was exceptional in every single way. To Andy and the Capri Express team, thank you for making dinner a joyful, stress-free experience for our anxiety-driven family. We genuinely appreciate it and can't wait to see you...

Finally getting around to leaving a review for Capri Xpress! (We’ve ordered from them several times before but we always start eating before I can get any pictures! 😆

We ordered the sausage and peppers and arrancini for appetizers. Both are fabulous dishes. I would recommend ordering the arrancini with the sauce on the side as they always soak all of that delicious sauce up. The sausage and peppers is a large portion for an appetizer and is full of garlicy goodness. The potatoes are always cooked through perfectly.

For entrees we ordered the 8 finger cavatelli and the rigatoni vita Mia. Both excellent. The homemade rigatoni are delicious and will make you never want to eat “regular” rigatoni again.

When they first opened, the salad situation was a little all over the place but now they put them in individual containers and it’s the perfect side salad. Also, we got garlic bread last night instead of just a few cut pieces and loved it! I hope this is something new as well that’s...

I have been to Capri Express two times this month. It is outstanding. We had such a good time the first time I promised Andy we would come back with my sister and brother-in-law who live in Italy. My brother-in-law is 100% Italian and my sis has lived there for around 40years. They were very skeptical of my praise as they have never had a true Italian tasting item in the US. Needless to say they loved this place and commented it was the best Italian they had eaten in the US and they are huge travelers.

Andy is such a great host he anticipates your needs and goes to work before you even know what you need. He treats you like family and the food😘. Everything tastes amazing. The calamari we had were the best any of us had ever had. The shrimp salad and meatballs sooooo good! The gnocchi stuffed with ricotta was so good my dad is insisting the next time I go visit him in Indiana I must bring it to him.

I will never go to another Italian restaurant than here if I can...
