Went there with my family (party of 7) and we talked in at 530pm. Ordered our drinks and food within a couple minutes and 3 refill of drinks later with no word on our food. The time is now 615. Another 10 minutes and our food comes out. We ask why it took an hour and she said it was because we had salmon and salmon apparently takes 25 minutes to cook. I cook salmon regularly at home and tops it takes 15 minutes so how it takes 30 minites, I don't know. But what tops the cake is the manager comes over and asks about this and we restate that we walked in at 525 and we now are getting our food an hour later. Now I can tell you this place was dead, no reason for an hour. She just restates that salmon takes 30 minutes and NO ONE apologized or anything and she kept stating that there is a decrepency is the time and whatever. I tell her I have a time stamp on the phone call I made once we walked in and she did not want to acknowledge this. So then the waiter says that the manager is comping 2 desserts. Okay so we order 3 and then wait another 15 minutes to try to get the bill, no one ever returning again, had to ask 2 bus boys for the waiter or someone to bring the check. We had to go to the front and ask them to ring us up because we couldn't stand being there any longer. The bring the bill and they only comp one dessert and we call the manager over again and she says she only told the server one dessert. Well your server told us two and you never personally offered us anything you made the server come over and offer it. She said she couldn't especially with the descrepency and then I explain that the largest disappointment in your service was the fact that no one, even you, apologized for anything, you just kept blaming it on how long the food we ordered cooks but again even then, it took double that time. NEVER will return and I suggest you do not either. Worst experience with management at a service industry. And imagine 2 desserts or even one for a party of 7? Cheap,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been to the location in Lemont at least 2 dozen times. The food is mediocre, at best. I still go, just to support local business. Last week I visited as I had a gift card to use. As per usual, the restaurant had its odd sewer smell and I felt like the staff there was tolerating us ( not very friendly). When it came time to pay the bill, the waitress told us the gift card wasn't working. She didn't say the card had a zero balance she just said it wasn't working. She also said it was old. It was from 2019-2020 ish but there should have been a 25 dollar balance. I asked her to check again with the manager. The waitress came back and said they could not do anything. The manager should have come to the table to tell us the card was "defective" and try to find a solution for this problem instead of just sending the waitress back to our table. If Iwere the manage, I would have covered the dessert we ordered or at least visit us at our table to discuss the situation. I was there with my husband and 2 children and I think that sometimes you can talk with the customers to help resolve a dilemma such as this. So, thank you, to the manager who just sealed my decision to NOT have to support this sewer-smelling, poor- service, mediocre food local business EVER AGAIN! I will share my experience with my local Lemont friends and let them decide whether they ever need to visit again. I was being nice continuing my visits to this establishment...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI do not typically leave negative reviews, but this needs to be brought to future patrons' attention and management NEEDS to address this issue immediately, especially with its staff. I (along with countless family members and friends) frequently visit 3 Corners in Lemont, which will include 3-5x per week as we love supporting this business. Names will be excluded from this review out of respect/disrespect of those involved, however during my last visit I was confronted by bartender 2, as I was enjoying my usual cocktail, regarding my tipping habits and quote as follows... "You know, I want you to know that your tipping habits do not reflect the quality of my service and it seems like you need the money more than I do". Honestly one of the most unprofessional, uncalled for, and flat-out the most embarrassing things I have encountered in a restaurant/bar. Bartender 1 was serving me and is one of the best assets at that location, so much so we tipped Bartender 1 $60 extra on a tab that was only ~$50 the prior week (as we believe in tipping to reflect the "service" received during that visit). I truly hope other patrons aren't harassed in the way I was and it will be very difficult to return to this restaurant in the future given recent events. As a gentle reminder, it is NOT necessary to tip on take out food and your customers should not be harassed for only tipping on in-house . Amazing how Bartender 2 is still in...
